BIT MESRA-IS IT WORTH?!

I myself have enrolled in aiml , seeing my interest in this. I got attracted towards what opportunities this branch would bring in future. The curriculum for some branches can be felt hard like in ece, eee, physics. We get no gap between the exams so we have to be prepared from early on. Exams conducted have a good level of questions like what I have noticed is that they focus more on the theory part but it depends on the faculty. Teachers should more interactive with the students helping them get more comfortable.

Companies use internships as a way to evaluate potential future employees, so if an intern performs well, demonstrates valuable skills, and fits well within the company culture, the chances of receiving a PPO are highe.Internships are provide by companies like wipro, reliance, whitehat, gail. But the only point is that upper branches are more preferred in these internships here. Students need to build a strong resume, prepare for interviews and start early to search for this internships

Here students are eligible to sit in the placments drive from the 6 th semester and should have min of 7.5 cgpa . Companies visited here are tcs, atlasian, reliance, byju, ceat, bajaj. Offers generated here are 700+.Campanies visited here is around 200+.Highest placements in cse bagged here is 63 lakh and average of cse is 20 lakh. After getting the degree , firstly will look for a job and then after 2-3 years will then do mtech

College provides scholarship on the basis of cgpa (9.5+ cgpa have a better chances) [Gp birls scholarship]they scored and they can take back the scholarship when your cg does not like in their condition criteria. Fees here is around 17-18 lakh for four year and for 2 nd semester we have tuition fees of 130000 which would go on increasing by 10% in every upcoming semester. We get a health insurance of 50000 thousand from the college during the four years.

Bitotsav is the annual fest here celebrated every year in month of march.It is quite interesting to enjoy it with your friends here and it becomes quite interesting with various bollywood celebrity around. Patheon is the annual tech fest of bit mesra held in the month of October which is okayish. We get sports Complex which has football ground, track and field, badminton, basketball , volleyball. There are various clubs which students can enroll in on the basis of their interest like acm, ieee, iet(coding clubs),, fas, psoc, sac and many more.

We get a double occupancy room which is good enough to accommodate two people. Meal provided is okayish including both veg and non veg. On special occasions we get special meals too. We need to register for the hostel mess online which costs around 30000 which is adjustable like the remaining amount gets adjusted in the next semester. Cleanliness is maintained as of now. Washrooms are cleanes twice a day and corridors are kept clean as per now.

You have give jee mains and should have a percentile over 96 in open category to get the upper branches. Admission is done through josaa and csabcouncelling.Here admission department is very slow and takes its own time to get the job done.

Faculties are like phd graduates from well-known iit nits, bits etc. Though the faculty to student ratio is good but then too we don't feel that connectivity between us. Classes are not so much interactive. Some professors are really good who would always be very happy to help you and you can reach out to them in case of any difficulties or doubt. Sometimes student's interest in asking their doubts declines by seeing the interest of faculties
