Course Curriculum Overview

3

the CSE branch is good but it's a good thing that college has several related branches like CST,IT,ITE so that many students can study computer science. the curriculum is also good ts the syllabus is also not very lengthy not very short like you can give midsems with just 4-5 hours of studying and end sems with 1-2 days of study

Internships Opportunities

3.5

Adobe, Morgan Stanly, Deshaw and hiremi visted as of now in my third year the stipend was between 15-50k and the best one was adobe as it took 10 students as 40k. and stanley took 2 students at 50k. the other companies comes with a stipend of approx 15-20K

Placement Experience

3.5

the students become eligible for placements since 7th sem but for internships it's 5th semester Amazon adobe deshaw morgan stanley ZS associates and many more visit campus 70% get placed i want to take placement after degree

Fees and Financial Aid

Fees for my tenure is 133200/- per year but it's increasing a bit for every freshers i suggest visit college's site for fees updates, i think if you are taking hostel your btech will cost you around 14 laks with all inclusive and if you opt for PG which is cheaper it'll be 10-11 lakhs

Campus Life

4

So, we have annual tech cultural sports fest Techsurge and Mridang which is a 2-3 days fest it include 50+ events. we have a 5 floored library in our college along with a book bank that a student can keep 5 books for entire semester to study. All classrooms and labs are air conditioned the desk and chairs are good Lab PCs however are slow but we manage by taking our own laptops The sports facilities are good however there only 1 small ground for all sports many societies like TechCom, Codechef, Udaan, IOSD, GDSC, etc

Hostel Facilities

4

There is a bed, table, chair, tubelights, fans and AC (if took AC room). There are no limit on electricity usage. there is a clothes washing guy who washes all students clothes and it's inclusive in hostel fees. Even if someone wants to wash on own there are washing machine available MEss food is quite homely as hostel capacity is 200 only i.e. food is good and homely

Admission

eliblity at my time was 60% in 12th boards and admissions are done via IPU counselling you can visit ipu.nic.in for form updates and all it's general 50% delhi reservation and 50% outside and that 10% SC ST etc the exams are most chill you have 1 mid sem hardly taking 3-4 hours of study 1 internal practical just 15-20 mints of study external practical it'll take 1-2 hours of study and finally end sem theory will take 1-2 days of study

Faculty

4

The faculty members are well educated most of them are PhD holders, and will encourage you to write research paper and make projects. Most of the teachers are well connected with many MNCs so that they also help us to get an internship. They always help us with doubts as we know some teachers might be a bit rude but majority of the teachers are good

Other Applied Colleges

Delhi Technological University - [DTU] | Bachelor of Technology [B.Tech] (Computer Engineering)

it's a good college

The placements of MAIT are decent as compared to market conditions. But the data shown on website or availble at various platforms is not the reality. The mass chunk of students who get a job are placed under and around 6LPA package.

Course Curriculum Overview:

When it comes to curriculum everything us fine accept 1st year curriculum. My branch is ece in 1st year i have to study chemistry and physics which is no use for anybody in future it is just waste of time pretty outdated. For 2,3 and 4th year curriculum is far better than what it is in 1st year. Odd semester starts form August and after 2 month we have to give midsem exam.1 month after midsem we have to give endsem. There is very short time period between midsem and endsem examinations.Even semester starts form January everything is same as that of odd semester.

So placement cell is not present in college because of low intake of students but the students are very skilled to crack Gsoc , and other internship opportunities which lands them into big company. Also very good alumni network is present in college which boosts the placement of college.

Placement Experience:

Placements are good in DTU. Usually a student is eligible to sit in placements from 4th year. Last year 325+ companies visited the campus like google, abode, Amazon, Microsoft, zomato, samsung, maruti suzuki, etc. They all have made 2050+ offers. The highest domestic package was offered by Atlanssian of 82.05LPA. The overall average package was 16.71LPA. The average package of my branch (Production and Industrial Engineering) was 12.34LPA. And in tech branches like CSE, IT it was around 24-25 LPA. Almost everyone is allowed to sit for placements. In PIE branch around 60-65% of student got placed in on campus.
