Course Curriculum Overview
Course curriculum made me choose the university for studying Biotechnology and its better rating as compared to other institutes in India. The course allowed me to excel and learn more about the subject line each year. Every year we used to have 3 internals and 2 sem exams to get ourselves evaluated and score based on our learnings.
Internships Opportunities
College offers internships for students who are willing to do the same through college instead of pursuing it outside. It will not be a stipend one but you will get hands-on experience during your vacation time.
Placement Experience
Placements are comparatively lesser for non-technical courses but are quite good for technical courses like, CS, ECE, IT, EEE, etc. Average packages being offered by the companies are in between 4-5LPA.
Fees and Financial Aid
The fee structure is quite on the higher end as compared to the facilities we received. Hostel charges were comparatively on the higher end. Campus placements were lesser for the particular course of biotechnology as compared to other departments.
Campus Life
There generally are very less college fests. But once a year there is a fest conducted during Christmas which is the mega fest for all, which is generally quite good. Hostels also never conducted any fests to socially engage with other students or friends.
Hostel Facilities
It is better to stay but the food is pathetic. If we used to ask for extra food, the service people would never provide the same and if you are late from college due to any reason, you won't get your dinner. The college does not allow to stay off-campus. it is mandatory to reside in university campuses only and you cannot interact with any opposite-gender friends or neither your father is allowed inside the rooms, if you are a girl, which is really bad.
Admission
There is an entrance exam conducted by the university for enrolling students from all over the country and world. As per the student-faculty ratio, the admissions are confirmed. The course generally begins in July and ends in June. It is quite easier to get in if you have decent scores in your past academics.
Faculty
All the faculties are very well versed in the subjects with expertise in the particular field they are into. They are well-qualified and experienced. Interactive and helpful for the doubts, if any student has. The teaching method is quite good and helpful for the students to excel.
