Reality of Sunbeam College For Women

Teaching methods are very good. To make it better teachers can make it more interesting and playful but being a college, considering the students adults and much sincere for their studies the teachers do their best in teaching. Talking about the course, then this college is affiliated to Mahatma Gandhi Kashi Vidyapeeth, therefore they have the same course as given in the syllabus of the University. The college cannot do anything with the syllabus.

Scholarships are not provided by any test or something. The fees are constant for complete degree, The students can pay the fees in installments. The fees of all courses are different. Students have to pay the exam fees and all seperately, it is not included in the fees. The installments have to be paise on time, otherwise they charge late fees of 300. And if you take few more days the late fees keep on increasing by ?300. That's the worst rule of this college. The placements are not provided by the college for all courses. Only a few students of B.com or M.com get the placements. Neither the BCA nor Bsc get any placement from the college.

The only annual festival held in this college is Vivdha, which has been postponed this year. The college does not let the students enjoy at all. Students face too many strict rules and regulations from freshers to farewell. The celebrations held by the college do not even provide much to eat or drink. The college is too boring in this field. Students can take two books at a time from library and they have to return or reissue the books on the mentioned dates. The only facility that we have in the classroom is a projector with a whiteboard. We do not have any social groups or clubs. The college charges so much for any extracurricular activities, that almost no student participates in it.

This year the college has been registered under CUET therefore the students can get admission only after the results of CUET. The college may surely take admissions without CUET but after getting the result of CUET to know the availability of seats. For the course BCA, the student must have/had chosen mathematics as a subject. No reservations available. The exams are scheduled according to the datesheet given by the university Mahatma Gandhi Kashi Vidyapeeth. The college must not tell lies to the students before addmission.

The faculty members are very helpful. They always solve all our doubts. They try their best to make the students learn without facing any issue. The only thing I personally do not like is the discrimination that they do among the students in providing opportunities.
