Course Curriculum Overview
I chose B.tech CSE , as I had interest in Block chain technology and IOT , and I am even opting that as a specialization. The curriculum doesn't make a student industry ready, but yes it gives you all the basic knowledge and tools . Rest the student have to develop there own skills by practicing to get industry ready.
Placement Experience
Placements in Sister nivedita University is decent, as every year 80 to 85 % students get placed, and the average package in my course in somewhere around 6LPA. MY plan after degree is to get in a job for 2- 3 years and after that to start my own venture.
Fees and Financial Aid
My course fee is comparatively expensive than other colleges in the city , as my course fee is 6.2 lakhs. Students also pay through education loans and some get scholarships. When it comes to campus employment it's decent, as 80 to 85% of students get placed every year
Campus Life
Overall campus Life is good , like the environment of the college is joyful . Students are friendly and helpful. Only thing which I don't like is limited sports opportunity in the college as there is only one basketball court in the college.
Admission
For getting eligible in B. Tech CSE in sister nivedita University, you should be attempting WBJEE entrance exam . Or you can get through management quota, You can find application forms for admission in the reception of the college. Examination occurs in every 5 months as end semester examination, in between a mid semester examination also helds.
Faculty
There are not much faculties in my course , but they are very knowledgeable, and helpful, there way of teaching is very professional and friendly, and they are well qualified. If I have any doubt regarding my subject , I can approach them through WhatsApp, and they never ignore.
