Likes
- The most important thing I loved about college was their facility for the hostel. Very nice hostels provided far more than expected.
- College is huge around 115 acres of land with various sports events which are conducted actively in the college including technical fests and gathering.
- I also loved the various technologies provided by the college and good teaching staff .
Dislikes
- Teachers do not focus on students individually which shows the Student teacher lack of bonding.
- Not very well known companies come for placement.
- College doesn't provide internship for students
Course Curriculum Overview
The placement provided to the computer science course made me choose it. Various coding and logical thinking is developed by the curriculum more of application based. I prefer to increase the application part in subjects like mathematics which I found was very mugging up business. The time provided for the exams is more of appropriate but the papers are usually lengthy and the difficulty level of the exam is medium not so hard and not so easy as well
Placement Experience
From about 7th semester students are eligible for campus placement. Companies which visited our college are TCS, Mahindra , Adani , Infosys, NVDIA , LNT , MacDonald,Vipro etc. Highest package is about 17+ lakh package . About 80-90 percentage of the students get placed if there's no recession. My plans is to opt for competitive exams after completing my degree.
Fees and Financial Aid
The tuition fee of the college is about 20000 and as being open category (ebc) the total fee I paid was about 76410 . Only scholarship i could opt for was mahadbt which provided about 4000-5000 rupees per year . Campus employment is decent and but not very good as not all great companies visit here.
Campus Life
The technical fests called prajwalan is held in college in the February month and just after that cultural fests called Zenith is also held in the month of March every year. A huge range of books are available in the library but books other than engineering background are not present such as books of great biographies or other competitive exams. Sports events are held in college smoothly knowns as Kalpana Chawla trophy but college doesn't support too much students have to request so much. Various clubs such as dance club , singing club, E-cell club, Gdsc club , robot tech club , NCC , NSS etc these club helps in the overall development of the student excluding studies
Hostel Facilities
Hostel facility is awesome far more nice than expected. College mess is better than other mess which are available outside the college campus. Hostel is provided on the cet cutoff and cgpa of the first semester. Hostel is more affordable this is the best facility I loved provided by the college.
Admission
The college cut off for the cet exam was about 96 percentile. The admission process was conducted in the admin building with application form present in the co-operative shop just beside the building. No reservation benefits availed. Timing of exams is okay and the difficulty level of exam is medium. The admission process can manage the timing as a lot of crowd gets accumulated in a small space and more people should be involved to make the process easier
Faculty
The faculty to student ratio is 7:75. Some of the teachers are highly knowledgeable and skilled but very less interaction is conducted. Teachers are not that strict if students don't want to attend the college they don't care even.
