Remarks

WGSHA is known for its reputation and one of the best placement facility. College does not deserve a negative review of anything. The college is the best one in the country.

Course Curriculum Overview

The course curriculum is good. This course is of 4 years and we have semester system which means 2-semester in 1 year. We have 6 months of continuous training within 4 years tenure and other training sessions after every semester. We also have wine training sessions separately to have knowledge about all types of wine

Placement Experience

College guarantee 100% placement. Many multinational hotels come to our college for placement and offer a high package to students. 5-star hotels like Oberoi, Fairmont, Taj, and many more come to our college for placement and provide a minimum package of 4lakhs.

College Events

The college has a lot of fests and events like Utsav, Rebels, Article 19 and Food festival takes place throughout the year. Amongst all the most awaited fest is food fest which is famous all the university.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fee for my course is approx 12lakhs for the full course. The fee is a bit high. but for middle-class students who want to pursue BHM.

Manipal is known for its beauty and the beauty of the campus with it makes our college life none less than a place in Heaven. And the facilities which college provides whether it be hostel, sports, labs, restaurants, kitchen, library or anything are extraordinary which altogether makes our college life the best one.

I got admission through the College Entrance Test, the student who has 45% in 12th standard are eligible for the entrance test.

An excellent place for learning and growth

Course Curriculum Overview:

I'm very interested in cooking so I choosed hotel management First I visited KlE college Banglore. In KLE college I didn't like the kitchen and restaurant even the classroom because it's not good even they didn't maintain hygiene. Even in the kitchen they don't have more equipment's After I visited AIMS I liked the the kitchen infrastructure and restaurant etcc Whenever I spoke with the faculty members they made me feel very comfortable and treated me like family. During my admission process the guide me and taugh me many important things. I truly liked the college and faculty members. The placement opportunities were also very good and they even offered opportunities to work in abroad

MSRUAS has the best infrastructure!!

Placement Experience:

After second year we are sent to hotels for internships and that is where we learn most of the stuff. From five star groups like Hyaat and Le Meridien we also have fast food chain restaurants like Devyani Group and McDonald's among others have and keep on hiring student from our university regularly.

Ramaiah University (BHM course/department) Review

Placement Experience:

From 7th to 8th semester students become eligible for campus placement and various types big hotel brands, airlines, cruiselines and big companies visit to recruit or give placements to students and average offers are made around 600000 lakhs per annum. Collage provides 100% placement to students and we go for intership twice, once in 3rd semester and second in 8th semester. we can choose whereever we want to do our intership even we can apply for abroad interships. After I complete my degree I am planning to get a job in any international brand or cruiselines then after 2-3 years of experience I will do complete my masters then I will settle down with a nice job in India.

My experience at WGSHA

I had gone through various colleges and their curriculum, but it did not excite me as I felt their focus was mainly on either food science or technology or nutrition. Not much importance to clinical or applied nutrition. My interest was in applied nutrition. The subjects here interested me the most with diet- medical nutrition therapy, clinical nutrition, sports nutrition and I could do specialization in public health. I was exposed to communities- speaking to people in their homes, anganwadis, school children, one month internship after 2nd sem and 6 months internship in the 4th semester. Usually they conduct Manipal entrance test for various courses but for msc dietetics and applied nutrition we had interview.
