Likes
- Teaching methods of faculties are nice and up to date to make us cope up with the current industry requirements
- Availability of teachers after college hours or after lectures so that students can solve their issues anytime
- The college has an counseling session for students that are depressed or are having some personal issues
Dislikes
- The infrastructure is not as good as expected
- Some of the toilets smells after being cleaned which makes it uneasy while sitting in a classroom
- Some of the floors are developed very much but some are still not developed
Course Curriculum Overview
The course expands through various fields including IT and CS. This makes it an versatile field if a student wants to pursue another field if not interested in the current. All the new sensors , controllers and processors are discussed in the honor course but not in the curriculum. The curriculum is behind in this situation
Internships Opportunities
Different companies offers their intership opportunities for students but not directly, our tpo staffs provides these interships. Stipend depends on the intership level and the stipend is not mentioned . Projects are done on recent technologies College also provides inhouse interships of different fields
Placement Experience
Placements are offered from top companies or as we are told , but for now as recession is going on many companies refused to offer placements and thus the placement rate decreased but according to the statistics provided by the teachers almost every student is placed from campus . My plan is to get a job from campus
Fees and Financial Aid
Although Mumbai University provides an opportunity for students whose parents cannot afford the course namely(EBC) , the college staff does not co operate with it and ask for the fees regardless of the laws according to the University. They take GYM khana fees but students are not allowed there as they state. They include sports fees but their no development in sports infrastructure and equipments
Campus Life
Annual and technical festivals are mostly in the month of January. Recently they started hackathon for students in all domains to participate. Library is small compared to other but availability of books is much. They have many groups as NSS , DLLE , cultural and technical groups. For now only IT and CS have advanced board technology and our stream has only projector that also is not working everytime
Admission
Every step proceeded smoothly without any interference. The eligibility changes every year depending on the cut-off , during my addmission the cut-off was very low . I continued with EBC , it helped me in pursuing my career smoothly without any money problems
Faculty
Teachers not only focuses upon the bright student but also low scoring students to provide an equal opportunity to all the students. Overall the faculties are the best considering other branches , they provide mentorship every week and also update about ongoing and incoming technologies. Teachers are available all the time during college hours and one can also connect with them after college hours.
