There are good number of courses such as basic engineering lab and CAD modelling courses and also courses like professional skills and practices which makes us real-world compatible. However, the lecture schedule can be a little loosened since it feels very tight during the course. Coat tests for the internal marks are conducted every month's for 15 marks and they totally make up for 60 marks in the final result. The semester final exams are pretty easy when compared to that of the even semester is what I feel personally. The final exam is conducted after every 5 or 6 months respectively.

Engineering students are eligible for placement right after the third year. The companies in IT sector like TCS and Amazon etc.. visit every year and also core companies like TVS, hero , Daimler , Siemens etc.. visit every year with limited placements. The today placement offered for 2023 was around 7000 seats For the time 2023 placement drive, the highest package was 50 lpa and the average was around 7 lpa. Almost all students without arrears and any black mark get placed very well. After getting this btech degree iam planning to do a Mba degree and will try to do APHD also !

The tuition fee is around 250000 and it is not increased and will not be increased any time soon by the college policy. And these fees can also be paid as full or in instalments. There exists a due date after which penalties will be charged for late fee payment. only availed for tuition since I travel by public transport and it consists me 250000rs only and there are somethings like lab uniform and coat which can be bought from anywhere and in college it costs around 700rs. There are no other compulsory charges. If you have scored above 90 per cent in the 12th exam and some good rank below 1000 you have a chance to get a strong 20 to 30 percent scholarship and to 50 or 100 rankings can get more than 75 per cent scholarship or fill fee waivers. Families with low income can apply for scholarships also! There college provides stipend of around 10000 to 20000 based on their field and subject of research for the PhD scholars and there are chances for part-time jobs inside the college also.

National-level tech fest Aarush held every year during August and September and national level cultural event Milan is also conducted every year around the month of February or March. Srm had a library with lakhs of books which are made available for every students without the restriction off their respective course and branch. Srm also constantly updated it's journal and publications collections also . There classrooms have wifi connections with really good speed and every classroom also has a projector or a smart board equipped. Shorts are given priority on srm . Lots of inter college and national level sports events are conducted by and on srm. It has facilities for almost every sport except swimming. They are also many student rob rob clubs like DSA , mea , iae and many hackathons are conducted by them every year. They excellent funding and technical support from the college side .

To be eligible to get a computer science course one has to rank below 8000 and good score in 12th exams also . The application form for the entrance exam is released in the official srm page very year twice and each exam has three phases. There are special government reservations for sc/st/PWD in the exam details of which are provided in the official srm web page. The first entrance exam is conducted right after the 12th board exam and the second exam after 3 or 4 months of the first exam. The exams are pretty difficult equally and you have to prepare accordingly. The admission process took lot of time like for getting the form then waiting to show them for approval and again going to another cabin for uploading documents in the system. This can be improved!

The college has been good number of faculties in the main campus who are highly capable and understandable. The faculty and student reason is around 1:60 The faculties are very capable and approachable and my favourite is Dr. Oliver (9840591594) . Faculties really help in understanding the subjects. As I said the faculties are very approachable, we can meet them at any working hours in their cabin without any restrictions and they are very approachable.
