Likes
- The infrastructure of ramjas is really dynamic, it's the only college which has 5 floors high. College is really beautiful and photogenic
- Faculty of my course is great, teachers are amazing and really helping also the lab facilities ars great and very easy to access
- I must say canteen is thd most beneficial part of my college. The food is obviously yummy and on top that its so cheap and affordable. Literally dosa is just for 40 and spring roll is just for 10 rupees.
Dislikes
- College is politically very very active creating disturbance and affecting the reputation of our college. The crowd is also not necessarily great.
- Also i didn't find the fest of my college upto the mark, they are overhyped and ramjas has open entry for almost everyone which causes ruckus and not safe for girls obviously
Placement Experience
5th or 6th semester students are available for campus placements. I am in first year so i really have no idea about the companies that our college brings in. Averags package as i told you is 5L/year. Not a lot students gets placed because obviously the course ia not placement type. My plans aftwe getting this degree is to do msc in biology.
Fees and Financial Aid
Fee is 14.5k/per year for bsc life science in ramjas college. The fees did not increase from the last year it remained same. There are a lot of scholarships and our college gives remindera to students but it is solely on student to apply for them because obviously college can't force but yes college will completely help if you insist on getting one.
Campus Life
Mosaic is our annual college fest name. It's great and lots of artist come here, obviously delhi university College fest are really famous so its a given that fests domt disappoint. Every faculty also has ita own fest, literall 100s of fest happen in a single year. Lots of political party leaders, chairmam have visited our college so you get to meet ans question them too. Overall its a great experience.
Admission
Cut off for science courses of general was 500+ out of 600 . Obviously if you have reservation benefita you don't need to score this much , around 350+ would work for qoutas. Eligibility includes you must study physics ,chemistry, bio or maths in class 12th. Timing of the exam depends and admission process is not that tough you need to get a good command on ncert
Faculty
My faculty that is thd bsc life science the teachers are so helpful i tell you. They are available 24/7 for you. The teachers are really experienced and they themselves are from the top universities of india. My faculty staff is really friendly they make us feel so comfortable to be with, you can open up to them ans feel no awkwardness in asking any doubt or something. The faculty to student ratio is really high, its like teacher can focus on every student without any burden or something
