CLASSROOMS ARE BROADER IN SIZE AND VERY AIRY.
CLASSROOMS ARE EQUIPED WITH SMART BOARD.

TEACHERS ARE NOT REALLY PUNCTUAL ABOUT THEIR TIMINGS.
TMCP UNION SHOULD BE REMOVED FROM COLLEGE, AS THEY EXTORT MONEY FROM STUDENTS.
CANTEEN SHOULD BE MORE ORGANISED AS WELL AS HYGEINIC.

Course Curriculum Overview

BCOM IS A GOOD COURSE ON THE FIELD OF FINANCE. FINANCE AND ACCOUNTING IS VERY WELL APPLICABLE IN CURRENT JOB MARKET. THE COLLEGE SHOULD ORGANISE MORE FINANCIAL RELATED WORKSHOPS FOR BENEFITTING STUDENTS. THERE IS ONLY 5 MONTHS GAP BETWEEN EACH SEMESTER WHICH IS REALLY TIRESOME.

Class Size: 750Course Fees: INR 24000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

TUITION FEES ARE FAIR AND ALSO THERE IS CONCESSION FOR BACKWARD PEOPLE. TUITION FEES PER SEMESTER IS APPROXIMATELY RANGING BETWEEN 3500-4000. OVERALL THERE IS 6 SEMESTERS. FROM WB GOVT WE USED TO GET A SCHOLARSHIP OF 12000 EACH YEAR. SWAMI VIVEKANANDA SCHOLARSHIP. NO INTERNSHIP OR JOB CAMPUSSING IS THERE IN COLLEGE.

AURA- FRESHERS HELD IN EVERY YEAR FOR NEW COMERS FEST NAMED HEMFLUENCE IN EVERY 3 YEARS THERE ARE 2 LIBRARIES IN THE COLLEGE, CONSISTS OF VARIETIES OF BOOKS. CLASSROOMS ARE EQUIPED WITH SMART BOARD. TMCP UNION IS THERE IN OUR COLLEGE, WORST ORGANISATION.

Admission

STUDENTS SHOULD GET ATLEAST 85% IN HS EXAMS TO GET QUALIFIED IN THIS EXAM. THE APPLICATION FORM IS PRESENT IN THE WEBSITE OF HERAMBA CHANDRA COLLEGE. I DONT AVAIL ANY RESERVATION BENEFITS, SINCE I AM FROM GENERAL CATEGORY. THE FREQUENCY IS 2 SEMS IN ONE YEAR

THE QUALIFICATION OF FACULTY IS TOP NOTCH WITH EXCELLENT KNOWLEDGE. ALL THE PROFESSORS ARE EXCELLENT AS WELL AS HELPFUL. THE LIBRARY IS ALSO ORGANISED PROPERLY WITH GOOD BOOKS. THE OFFICE STAFFS ARE GOOD AS WELL.

St Joseph's college a Decent one

Placement Experience:

Placements were not there earlier. But our batch was the first one to get placement at St Joseph's College Darjeeling. To be honest It is not a college you should target if you are looking for placement. The companies were too small . The roles are way to entry level . Highest placement was around 40000 per month but it was an inside sales role so many opt out. There is not official data about placement . My plan was to look for off campus jobs.

Placement Experience:

from 3rd semester, students become eligible for campus placement. Various Jewelleries company has visited, and even companies like Google, Tata and many has visited. As per i know the highest package were in lacs per month. The college provides 100% placement. After getting the degree, I'll do masters in business administration.

It opens up various career paths in accounting, finance, management, and more. Plus, it's a versatile degree that can lead to professional certifications like CA, CS, or MBA.

I did chose this course to learn more about accounting and finance and the cirriculum prepares you perfectly for the real world. The exams were conducted very soon in few semester only giving 3 months for the students to prepare . the professors were good at teaching and somehow used to complete the syllabus

SXC is invaluable to me!

Placement Experience:

Highest package of our program has been 20 lakhs. Companies like EY, DeShaw, ITC, CESC and many others which are multi billion dollar groups were the ones which are invited for placements. Batch size including morning and evening is of 400 students and nearly 200 gets placements in dream companies. Roles of business analyst and accounting are provided and SAP is taught in our college so those who know that gets job easily.
