Likes
- Good teachers who help with doubts and problems, they don't hesitate to help even if they are from other classes.
- Modernized facilities. The computers are updated, Modern equipment like Smartboard in every class and Proper tools for work.
- Good Library, Theres a wide variety of books available for the students , There are old books and latest edition books, there are 3 libraries in total , all having different variety of books.
Dislikes
- Absent teachers, Teachers most of the time remain absent , Out of 5 classes a day, only 2 or 3 are taken
- No Air conditioning, No rooms except the main auditorium has an AC, well for the fees being paid an AC cant be expected.
- Bad Management, random people enter the college all the times if ur a student from a different college you can easily enter as nobody checks id card at the entrance.
Course Curriculum Overview
Some special parts of this course have influenced me to take this course, for example Entrepreneurship, Tallying, IT has always been my favourite subjects to learn, instead of taking a degree of entrepreneurship i can simply learn it from the course ive taken e.i Bcom Hons. The curriculum teaches us all the works that are being done in the corporate world. This makes us ready for real life problems and helps in decision making. Improvements can be made in this course by adding the subject of E commerce as its very important now in todays time. The frequency and timing of exams are okay as the subjects are not really that hard .
Internships Opportunities
College brings up different organisations for internships who give us projects and we have to do that within the deadline No requirement of any fees This is not a paid internship, they give us a certificate of completion They gave us a project based on AI and tallying this year. We had to make a presentation of how AI can help in business.
Fees and Financial Aid
The fees of the college of course bcom hons has always been 3580. No extra charges No scholarships available for students by the college SC ST OBC students get financial aid of 5000 by the government Theres scholarship by the government of 12000 for the students of this college
Campus Life
Campus life has been good overall, no problems no ragging College Fest, Freshers Different festivals are celebrated, Theres a student union who are always ready to help students in need . Sports are being held every year at a big stadium Books and journals are easy to get from the library with just a simple registration.
Admission
You need to pass 10+2 to get into this college The admission procedure is from the college site No need to go to college to collect form The usual cutoff of BCOM students is 83% whereas SC ST students around 70% We just need to go to college for document verification nothing else
Faculty
The faculty is very well set up, for each subject there are two to three teachers , each teach different portions, as the text says too many cooks spoil the broth, but its not the case here. The teachers have a proper management of who will teach what and it has always been a success. Students can interact with the teachers whenever they want , the teachers have given full permission, they even allow us to make calls to them for any doubts or problems, They are always available for our help.
