Likes

The upes environment is very good and teachers were also teaching very nice way. Faculty also discuss case study with the students so from this we clear our concepts also. Seniors were also helping in this university.
University also provide many extra course which student can opt for it also.
University also invite many guest to motivate the students and also arrange many different activities.

Dislikes

Management of this university is very slow. Some faculty are not teaching upto the mark. Few things they do not brief the students carefully and then they expect from student to sumbit in right way.
Like i choose bba in analystics and big data but they do not teach this subject in 1 and 2 semster.
Otherwise rest is all good about upes. Fees is very high as compared to other colleges. Placement is also not very up to the much as they promised previously placement is 100 percent.

Course Curriculum Overview

The teaching method is fine but i want faculty to teaches us in practical way also because in ananlytics it's very important to know the practical thing rather than theory. Question paper of exams is moderate level not very difficult.

University provide many scholarship like girls Scholarship, sports kota scholarship. University provide scholarship on the basis of 12 percentage and cuet grade. University provide 10 , 20,30 percent .

Structure of the campus is good. University celebrate all the festivals and arrange many fest for the students also. University offerderd many extracirricular activities like dance, music, basketball, football.

Admission

We have to fill the form from the website upes.org and pay 1300 amount for registration. They take admission from college entrance exam, 12 grades, cuet grade. If we choose from college entrance we also give interview.

Faculty interacts with students on daily classes. Like faculty gives assignment and discuss about it in front of the class. Faculty also prepare students for the presentation so student will present the presentation.

After 1st year the student are eligible for placement there are lot of companies visited like Reliance,Tommy Hilfiger, Calvin Klein, TOI, and the minimum package is 4 lakh and the maximum package is 30 lakh approximately 85 percent students are placed

Placement Experience:

As I am a bba student and I have 3 year of course duration so students starts doing internship from 2nd year and. Placements aree provided from 3 year. By college The highest page goes of 12 lpa in bba and average goes of 5lpa . Approx 80% students get placed .I am planning to do my masters afterwards. Major companies like Amazon and many more visits to our college

At Shivalik like we have been advised to find internships from each semester here on. So after internship the CV building and skill building training are provided. It is amazing to know that many reputed and well established names such as Windlas Biotech and RR Cable have started coming to our campus and hiring students as junior managers at a salary of 4 lakhs or so.

No safety nets for getting admission in UPES as university is strict in taking students. UPES Engineering Admission Test also known as UPESAT has to be cleared. I applied at GECET of Graphic Era and gave other entrances too. Apart from JEE, I cleared almost all and only one left was that. UPES has the best facilities!

Admission are through an entrance for engineering which is called UPESAT. The best thing is the paper can be given anytime as it's online and if students want they can directly come to the university and then give that exam.
