Likes
- The Placement provided by the college is pretty much good overall almost 4lakh-5lakh per annum which is good in term of a tier 3 college
- The faculty feels very supportive, some of them might be arrogant but most of them is help you
- The 75% attendence is not a big issue in this college. Just maintain a decent number of attendence and and thats it
Dislikes
- The quality of faculty memeber is not up to the mark some of them are not able to teach the topic briefly
- Good Facilities are leaving the college day by day
- In terms of campus it's not that great like other but can say decent campus
Course Curriculum Overview
Our college comes under the MAKAUT, the Maulana Abul Kalam Azad University of Technology, formerly known as WBUT The syllabus is outdated just like other universities around India. They are forced to join courses which may not be helpful for all, they are forced to collect more points which have no relevance. It's better for them if they update the syllabus
Placement Experience
Placement is good, in terms of a tier e college it's pretty much good. The average package is 4-5 lakhs per annum The highest Package on campus is 12lakhs this year The previous year it was 14 lakh There were some off-campus packages like 22 lakh, 30 lahks but that was totally off campus and one or two in the year. The mass hiring companies mostly come in colleges like TCS, Wipro, Accenture, Cognizant, Infosys, Capgemini
Fees and Financial Aid
Scolarship available on basis of YFW quota who are getting admsion through wbjee, for loan you can opt dor SBI, PNB, our college had good relation with PNB Bank, cause their is a branch of PNB Bank in our college campus, so that's all, Talking about placement ota good if you think from point of a tier 3 college, TCS, Capegimini, Wipro, Accenture, Cognizent, Infosys these are the main company who comes for mass hiring at the avaragge package of 3-5 lakhs per year, Some good companies like Optum, Starlite Technology, provide a good salaray also likeb7-8 lakh
Campus Life
Campus Life is not that good, first year I opt for the hostel but then I left the hostel and lived in a rented flat outside of college. The library room is good for sitting and relaxing and studying, the hostel life was good though, club environment is good there is clubs like code vison and cyber cell there are a technical club like these. There are also club for Robotics, entrepreneurs, social activity
Hostel Facilities
Hostel Facility is decent, they provide double bed option mostly it's cost 6000 per month so 36000 per semster, and the rooom was decently clean provided with a table bed, and watdrobe, that's all, After first year I opt for rented flat outside the college if you can take a flat far from college it will cost you less otherwise near college it will cost high, approx 5000 per month you can manage your rent and food
Admission
The admission Process was smooth, the faculty helped us in the terms of admission and during the admission panel will guide you throughout the admission. You can take admission in 3 ways, through wbjee, through Jee Main, and through direct admission.
Faculty
Faculty student ratio is decent, the faculties are helpfull some of them done even their PhD, but they are always helpful towards students. I have good relations with 5 faculties one of our English mam guides me in my family related problem. So they are so much helpful.
