Usually the curriculum of this course in particular is similar in almost every College/University but JMI is a reputed central university, that's why I decided to study here. This course is mainly meant to start your journey in the mathematics field. After that, you also have to do your master's and PhD and this course will make you ready for it. To comment on improvements in course curriculum and teaching methods is really hard to say as the course is more theory based than application based. There is many computer-related topics in various semesters that can prepare you for M.CA. as it is a popular choice nowadays. Many students are opting for M.CA. after doing B.Sc. Difficulty level of exams are medium-hard and frequency is as like any other College/University. Exams are more focused on your understanding of the topic you learned in that semester.

Companies like Byju's and banking or tech related companies hire for interns with very limited spots. Stipend is also not much. This is a academic course so it is also a thing which I think make companies reluctant to hire interns as they have to train them for their projects. In short, the learning we acquire in this course is much academic and not much suitable to projects offered by the companies.

Tuition fee is 7k, which is too minimal to even exist, but still there are scholarships for students with good academic scores in their school or for students who are economically weak. I do have much information on various scholarships, but they are there. Also, various scholarships sponsored by the government and various organizations are there to avail. In this course there is no other fee other than tuition fee.

Many annual and technical festivals are held here. One time, President of India came as special guest for a convocation in 2019. Library is vast and spacious with wide range of books and journals available from course related to other important ones. MAK Pataudi stadium is part of JMI solely dedicated for sports related activities. Many other social groups related to debates, theatre, dance, singing, NCC and many others are open for every student of the university.

Entrance exam has to be given for this course other than that eligibility is normal like any other College/University's eligibility. As of my knowledge, there is 50% reservation for Muslims and no other reservation. Entrance exam is taken every year once and the difficulty is near medium level. Exams are not easy and not much difficult either. Cutoffs are released within 2 months of exam and admission process starts within 2 weeks after the cutoffs are released. Various Cutoffs are released in different intervals till the seats are filled completely. Admission process are also normal, administrators will ask for regular documents. There is not much hassle.

According to me, Faculty-to-student ratio was not good. But still the available faculty were good in what they were teaching. Also their credentials were also good. I guess they won't mind if you approach them for good reasons.
