HONEST REVIEW ON VIT CHENNAI

my course is integrated Mtech which means Btech + Mtech both , in vit chennai they are two integrated option software engineering and CSE (business analytics) , so i opted CSE(BA) , it has more CSE subjects . the course has real world problem subject like real time analytics ,data science , machine learning the course can improve by doing the DSA C++ or JAVA instead of C LANGUAGE. there are 2 internals (CAT-1 and CAT-2) each after around 1.5 months and end semester FAT

As i am in 1st year , so dont know much about the internships but i can tell you what my seniors told me , they told that maintain your cgpa above 8 and you will get a good internship , so focus in your cgpa

Placement is better than other private colleges,company come in the college in last year (9th semester),company like deloitte, cognizant, OLX,ey etc. highest package - 26 lacs (as per my senior) average package- 10 lacs (as per my senior) around 85- 90 % students are placed (as per my senior) after completeing my degree i will do the job only , no further studies

there is no such fee hike as compare to other colleges 1st - 3rd year fee - 192000 4rd year fee - 194000 5th year fee - 197200 hostel is aroung 2 lacs + 150000 (one time) there are some state level scholarship you can apply .

Cultural fest - Vibrance , technical fest - Techno vit All the books and journals are available in the library, library is pretty good all the classes have project and all the labs have Air conditioned all the sports are available in the campus and regular competition is going on . there more than 200+ clubs in the college and all are run by students

VIT college hostels are pretty good as compare to other colleges,the are 2, 3 , 4 , 6 shared room AC/ NON AC based on the room fee will be charged. Food is more likely south indian type , overall food is good hostel and mess process all are online process

Anyone can apply to this course based on the board PCM marks . You can apply the application form from the official VIT website. application form is around 1500. there is no reservation qouta in this exam .

there are 60 students in the class, so its not big class size or small , its good if you have any doubts , you can ask from the faculties , they will answer your doubts faculties teach from the ppts or on the board depend on the faculty and subject if we have any doubt we can go to their cabin to ask , they will clear doubt
