Course Curriculum Overview

5

Bcom Hons is a well-reputed course for people from commerce backgrounds, and Delhi University is best for this course. Its major reason is it's low fees, where a private college charges up to 5 lakhs. One can easily do this undergraduate degree from Delhi University in just 40–50 thousands. Internships must be offered by the college and smart learning methods must be adopted It's just an old-fashioned degree going on for commerce major and its difficulty is average; one can pass easily. The exams are not very tough and occur twice a year, and practicals with viva also one can easily pass these exams with good numbers and if you are pursuing any course li chartered accounting, it's just your cup of tea you can easily appear for exams by studying only just one night it's my personal experience not lying I scored 70% just from YouTube.

Placement Experience

2.5

After their graduation, that is the sixth semester. Not aware of companies visited and offers made. 3 lakhs average package. Not aware of percentage of placements. I will start my business, most likely.

Fees and Financial Aid

The tuition fees for each year is approximately 18000 rupees, which is very reasonable for an undergraduate college degree and it is same from first year; there's been no increase in it. There's no additional fees, only the college fee, which is 18000, exam form fees, which are 1500 spent from my side, and metro conveyance, which is approximately 100 rs a day. There's no amount of scholarship since the fees is very low and equal fir everyone, though benefits to very poor strata are given but can't be availed of, and no financial aid is provided. I have not volunteered in any of the internships or responsibilities since college doesn't provide any of these things. We have to find those on our own from sites like linkedin, but I have not volunteered in any of those.

Campus Life

1.5

There are no annual fests no famous singers come. range of books is good, including all the latest editions. No adoption of technology, old-schooled black boards, and boring and broken infrastructure. There is no sports group and no gym in college. The student portal is on the official college site, pgdaveve.in.

Admission

Commerce in class 12. It's a common entrance test called CUET, which is for all colleges, and you are allotted a college as per your merit. Not available for reservations I am from a general background. The exams have 90 marks and a duration of 3 hours. The level of difficulty is just average and they occur twice a year. Reservation must be deleted and one should get admission as per merit and not by caste; it's a major drawback of poor mentality. Students must get admission as per their own capabilities. The exam for entrance is good and a new process, as per NEP.

Faculty

4

The student ratio in each class is very low, so teachers interact with students directly, though male girl ratio is poor I am from bcom hons section There are only two sections, which is roughly estimated to have a total of 50–60 students, and more than 45 boys are there so girls can not have much company . The approach of teaching is average as there are no smart boards or digital means other than a computer lab so quality of education is average but you can score well in exams from that knowledge, and they provide study material on college WhatsApp group and announce next class and the teachers are well educated and groomed. The interaction with teachers is excellent; they solve every doubt, and even though you can send them messages on WhatsApp or go to the staffroom, they are never lazy and appreciate you in every possible way. The students are well entertained.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Well i choose this course because I didn't got what I wanted. Many students are from arts background who got this course because they had no option. The curriculum is same as school all chapters and everything. The law section is new. About buisness and law and everything. Rest is same. Changes in curriculum is not in their hands. But if they could actually change the accounting syllabus. The timing of exams is normal 2:30 to 6:30. And internal test taken by perspective teacher are according to their time and class. They will take retest incase you didn't attended.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I really was interested in finance and taxation from the beginning. This course aligned rightly with my interests. The curriculum is based on real world applications. Corporate accounting, financial accounting, company law, human resource management, these are very important considering change in the job market and business world. Not only real world applications but one can also go for further academic pursuit such as a master's degree and research. This makes the curriculum really diverse. Some areas of suggestions would be that in theory subjects there should be practical activities. Just like vestibular training. The time of exams is just right. After the completion of syllabus of a particular subject, we are given 10 days of preparation leave. The exams are moderate and it really tests our ability and knowledge based on our studies.

Placement Experience:

For placements fifth semester student are eligible for placements. Since it is best commerce college. Companies like big 4, google, bank of America, Goldman Sachs, bcg, bain and co., Sbi, paytm, meesho and many more comes. The highest package was 36 LPA this year from meesho for senior analyst roles. Average package is 10 LPA. Most of the placements take place in consulting, marketing, auditing, finance and analyst roles. Around more than 50% of the students get placed. My plan is to take placements in consulting and finance roles after the degree from the college.

The placement is quite good the percentage of students is not same always it changes but only those students with proper knowledge, experience, skills get good placement. There is a proper placement cell for this which is very active. Prepare for government exams (SSC, UPSC, etc.) Go for higher education (PG, B.Ed., MBA, etc.) Enroll in skill-based or professional certification courses outside college

Placement Experience:

The placement of my college is good if you perform well in the process of selection, as I told earlier, the placement cell is pretty active, so you would have a good number of options. I will be naming the good companies that visited my college, they were EY, Deloitte, DE SHAW, TCS, KPMG, etc. Numerous offers were made and I would say over 80% students in my batch got placed in good companies.

Course Curriculum Overview:

In open learning management.. they provide hard copy of books tk prepare whole semester and this is a very good thing because those books are covering whole semester in some books only and there is a v good thing I found... At the end of every chapter they provide summaries and mock questions for every chapter to analyse the weakness and strength. the areas for improvements in the Course Curriculum and Teaching Methods--- they should also provide a mock test paper as per the paper model and latest questions or updated topics with to the point topics The difficulty is normal if candidate is completely prepared...
