College gives many internship opportunities, many student got internship offer in third year and fourth year. remember that you dont have any backlog in third year, if any backlog is there then clear it as possible. beacuse all companies eligibilty criteria is no standing arrear

Placement Experience

Placements of VIT university is good, it depends on your skills. many students not opt for placements they choose higher studies thats why the placements opportunities are goood.I have plan to study for Gate.

Fees and Financial Aid

The complete cost ofour education goes around 8-9lac, but this institution ask for more money, like if any student fail in any subject then they ask for 6k for reregistering the subject. merits based students got some scholarships.

Campus Life

There are many clubs in vit chennai, there are various types of activities did my clubs. every student must have to participate in any club.The annual function of vit chennai is Vibrance. the vibrance is held in probably in febraury or march month.

Hostel Facilities

There are many Hostel facilities, every year aprroax 1.5lac fees spends in hostel fees. There are two types of mess available in every block. Night mess is also available in every block. Hostel room selection is based on your acadamic performance

Hostel Fee: INR 150000 per year

Admission

There is VITEEE exam for admitting in vit, If you got good rank in Viteee exam, then we can choose campus among the 5 campuses and branch. then there is option of category wise fees structure, there are 5 categories in fees structure

Faculty

A lower ratio means more personalised attention, professors can tailor their teaching to your learning style. Teaching approach , learning style, some professors who incorporate diverse teaching methods to cater to differrent learning style. frequency of interaction, some professors who create a welcoming classroom enviornment comfortable

Course Curriculum Overview:

Specific schedule is not followed in college regarding the academic and co curricular activities. Sudden decisions will be taken by the management which is a bit difficult for the students and faculty too. There were times where faculties are fed up of management rules and decisions.

Placement Experience:

1.) Placement begins from the pre-final year and we are allowed to apply for companies from the final year. 2.) Around 70% of the class gets placed in reputed companies with an average CTC of 4-8 LPA. 3.) Along with core biotech companies, many IT companies are also hiring students at a very decent package. 4.) I plan to pursue a master's after this course.

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible for placements in their final year. Many reputed companies like accenture, TCS, zoho, HCL, etc. visited and many of my friends also got placed with a good package. The highest package from my batch was 50lpa in company called motorq. The average package is around 4lpa.

Placement Experience:

The students become elgible for placements right from the 5th semester of their course work. The students who have no standing arrears become elgibile in the first place. There are many companies visiting the college where Infosys, Cognizant, Virtusa are the mass recruiters. The are many other companies like TCS, Wipro, Zoho etc. visiting the college placement drive. On overall 90% of students gets placed every year. The highest package of 25lakhs per annum was offered by amazon for 3 students. My plans after getting degree is to get placed in any of the company.

It's a good college for me.

Placement Experience:

From final year students and 3rd-year students eligible for attending the campus placements in this campus so many companies are there like Wipro, wheels India, so many IT companies in this average package starting as 18000 to 40000 students should have a minimum percentage of 6.80cgpa eligible for placement I completed the degree I got a placement on IT company.

because of future is EV. So I will take the EEE for a bright future 50:1 ratio level. Faculty qualification is a minimum PG and most of the faculties are complete Ph.D. each unit has a unit test it is very easy only No difficulty to get a pass.

Balanced Engineering Journey At Vit Chennai

I applied for SRM, once considered admission in LPU but finally chose VIT due it's reputation and strong placements. Other colleges which I applied for required strong jee scores for admission. Admission process in VIT is as follows:- 1) write VITEEE exam cause vit doesn't considers jee scores. 2) you must have above 60 percent in boards and above or equal to 60 percent in PCM aggregate. 3)cutoffs, past papers, closing and opening ranks are not revealed si can't say much regarding that. 4) overall admission experience was decent...Read More

Is VIT worth it

From th start of the 12th class I wanted IIT and my second option was VIT over NITs because it has very good facilities. I didn't get good marks in my JEE advance so I choose VIT. I had given exams of various other colleges like Kalinga Insititute of technology(KIT), SRM, BITSAT etc. i chose VIT as my college was because it is one of the most renowned colleges of India. VIT has a tag value of its own and it does make a difference if you add "VIT" as your college in your resume. The admission process of this college goes by giving an examination called VITEEE which is held after jee mains. The syllabus for the same is similar to jee mains and the good thing is it has no negative marking. All 12th pass students with a minimum of 60% are eligible to write this entrance test.
