Entrance Preview

I gave JEE examination .I dont remember how much i scored I heard that this is a good college so i took admissions here.

Course Curriculum Overview

It was average I love the when they teach different programming languages. Different other extra courses are also taught on different campany.

Internships Opportunities

I don't know much about the internship and stipend offered since i am still studying and don't have any experience about it. I have only heard a little bit about it from the senior students.

Placement Experience

The placement is good as the senior students told me that very good companies come in the campus.They also offer good starting salary.

College Events

We celebrate welcome party for freshers, Diwali,teachers day,children day. Seminars after exams. Blood donation Campaings do donate for poor and cleaning campany.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fee structure is common.We have to clear fee of every year before the semister exams.The fee is not expensive but it is a little high.The fee is average.

Fees and Financial Aid

No i have not taken any loan but they give loan without interest and we have repay it before our engineering is finished.

Campus Life

The campus very big so we have good place for playing outdoor games. We also have gym and basket ball court in our campus.Every sunday our take us to a tour in college bus.

Hostel Facilities

The hostel facility is very good .We have wi fi and lan connection in our rooms. The food of the mess is average it needs improvement. We have gym in the campus. Overall the facilities are good.

External Expense: Rs.2000 - Rs.4000

Exam Structure

The exam structure is nice.First we give internal exam and then semister exam,the internal exam prepare us for semister exam. so exam structure is quite good.

The faculty of the college is very good. They explain very well the subjects they teach They have high qualification and so obviously have good knowledge and teach well.

Course Curriculum Overview:

For csit the subjects kee changing accroding to the trendy stuffs that are currently going on but it was really hard to keep with that when all your subjects are changed and you have o idea or previous year qs to geta reference from. Exams are conducted continously with no gaps and its not a easy stuff students get lot of stress but still somehow manage.

A Complete Review of KIIT University from a Student's View

Placement Experience:

The placement opportunities at KIIT are quite good, especially for us the CSE students.The eligibility criteria for campus placements starts from 7th semester. Many well-known companies visit the university every year like TATA Consultancy Services , Infosys, Wipro, Accenture and Capgemini.The average package offered is around 6-8 lakhs and highest package offered around per yr avg is 50-60 lakhs.The percentage of students getting placements is around 90% plus in average per yr. After completing my degree, i plan to work in software industry and gain more experience in the field of technology

Placement Experience:

I would rate the placements at my college as 3 out of 5. Students usually become eligible for campus placements from the sixth or seventh semester, and a few well-known companies do visit the campus every year. The placement cell helps with basic training like resume building and interviews, and many students, especially from IT branches, manage to secure jobs. At the same time, the average salary packages are not very high and top roles are limited, so a lot of students also focus on skill development, off-campus opportunities or higher studies after completing their degree

Placement Experience:

Students are eligible for placement from their 3rd year onwards. It has been only 2-3 months but I have seen several companies arriving at the college, prominent ones being Flipkar,Deloitte, Xerox, TCS, Wipro, Infosys, Microsoft, Dell and several others including startups. There is no accurate data on how many offers have been made this year, but there are rumours that more than 95% of the eligible students have got placements. After getting a degree my plans are if I dont land into a satisfying job then I will start my preparation of the military or start a new business.

Placement Experience:

So from 7th semester plcements are starting.Various Tech and Non Tech companies are also coming like TCS ,Accenture, Cognizant, Delloitte, InfoSys, KFinTech, Incture, GyanSys, Iserveu for Tech branches. and PRADAN, Aditya Birla etc for Non tech branches. Students also getting offers from OffCampus like RedHat ,CISCO ,Amazon ,Google. From On Campus Highest Package goes upto 12 to 15LPA and lowest is 4.5 but average is 5 to 6 LPA which is comperable. And about almost all are who are opting for placements got placed eventually.

After 6th semester the students get eligible for company placement. There are huge companies visited every year for the placement and many big MNCs like Amazon offers 100seats , Wipro offers 200, detollite offers 100, microsoft offers 10, ITC offers 150 , Infosys offers 300, TCS offers 200, Flipkart offers 150 and many more . Every year almost 80% of the students get placed at a good company with a minimum of 4 lakhs . After getting the degree I am planning to get placed in a multi national company like Amazon or Microsoft

Placements are ok but majority of the placement are for the IT and Cse sectors, but there are some core companies which offers a good packages. Around 40-50 % students pare placed in the companies and more over most of the students are up for the higher studies and cracking GATE exam.

See basically you placement depends on you .If you work hard you will get placed with a good package.In our college last year the avg package for CSE was around 13 Lakh per annum and highest was about 39 lakh per annum.Companies like Amazon,oracle Microsoft etc visited our college .After 4 th or 5 th semester i Think we are all capable of getting placed .
