Likes

Campus is quite beautiful and situated near malls, parks, etc
There are many good faculties and overall has good learning environment.
Many clubs to join and many fests like blitschlag to enjoy.

Dislikes

Mechanical Labs are not up to date and need many improvement

Course Curriculum Overview

From the start I have interest in Mechanical stream. Curriculum is old at the time I studied it but it got revised recently which will help the student I think the mechanical Labs are quite outdated and teaching method of some concepts is quite old. Exams happens twice in one semester(mid and end term) and exams are not difficult.

Internships Opportunities

Many companies comes to give internship opportunities and offered a good stipend like Cummins, TVS motors, reliance with a stipend of 10000-30000 Roles like design engineer, assistant are given and after the intership some companies give PPO for good performing students

After 6th semester and summer internship students become eligible for placement In core(mechanical) companies like HPCL, BPCL, HRRL adani and many others visited For UG students more than 80% students placed To get placed though campus placement

Fees and Financial Aid

There is no hikes in tution fees I am a day scholar and belong to SC category and my one semester fees is around 16000 so in total it is approx 128000 I get the top class sc scholarship in which I get around 80000(45000 for laptop) in first year and around 40000 for next three years No I didn't taken any campus employment

Campus Life

Annual fest blitzchlag happe in Feb and technical fest sphinx happe in nov Many books are available for every coarse and they are easily available In my classroom there is 2 projectos on sides and board in middle Almost all sports available and many acticvities are done throughout the year

Admission

Cut off for mechanical for SC category is around 2100 and my rank is around 1900 so I easily get it After jee advance college preferance can be filled in jossa website and after all round complete fees and application can be submitted in college

Faculty

Faculty ratio is continuously improving. I personally didn't have any problem with number of faculty available. Most of the faculties are very experienced and highly qualified. It is quite easy to interact with teachers and they are mostly there to help

Placement Experience:

Placement are decent in my point of view as college manage to provide campus placement to every eligible students as company ask for your Overrall grade point of the student and apply their standard as 6.5 ogpa or without any backlog and take exam of aptitude and it is based on company policy they take group discussion and then personal interview and if it is software company then coding rounds also. Students in7th semester are ready for placement. In current scenario 6 companies have visited the campus and around 40-45 offers has been given to students. Here each company come with only one package and different job roles some company came with 5.5 lpa and some with 5 lpa and some with 7 lpa so maximum till now from college is 7 lpa and average till now of placed students is 5.5 lpa. 60 percent of students get placed in past years stastics. My plan is to go for higher education ie mtech from good institution.

The placement of my college are good in electrical and mining branch the placement are very good while in other branch the placement is decent in this college many companies are visited like vedanta etc. many good companies are come here the 60 percent students are placed every year but in mining and ee the placement rate is almost 100 percent my plans after getting degree is to go in very good company with very good placement

Placement Experience:

Each year in seventh semester placement companies visit college for taking students. In mechanical engineering Vedanta and Secure meter come for taking students. The average placement of this college is seven to eight lakhs and highest placement is twenty two lakhs. The best part is the placement in core companies. The average placement CGPA REQUIRED FOR PLACEMENT IS SEVEN CGPA.

Mnit jaipur is very good among other nit's, except some minor problems.

I had also applied to nit bhopal where i could get electrical but that was so old infrastructure and its location is also outskirts and choose mnit due to its location and social life and city . Mnit Jaipur top NIT ?

I applied to a few NITs and state colleges but chose MNIT Jaipur because it has better infrastructure, faculty, and placements compared to others. I got admission offers from MNIT Jaipur and one or two other NITs, but MNIT felt more promising for electrical engineering. I faced rejection from some colleges due to lower JEE Main rank. MNIT’s admission is mainly through JEE Main, which is the most preferred exam for most students here. The cutoff for electrical engineering is quite high, around 15000-25000 rank, depending on category. The admission process was straight forward register on JoSAA, choose preferences, and seat allotment happens based on rank. Overall, it was smooth and transparent.
