My experience of first year at the Rcoem

The course is based on the new education policy. It is an adequate course for beginners but it provides the minimum knowledge required for their respective field. The course is very vast and have their respective labs too.

The internship opportunities are provided for the seniors. For the juniors, we have a summer internships programs organised for us which can be used for inventive program also. These program enable to learn and benefit from them as they provide experience and they also help improve the academic performance by providing incentives.

The campus placements are honestly somewhat sluggish as many students are placed with a package ranging from 4 to 5.5 LPA in the IT companies. Around 80 per cent of students are placed in the campus placements. The highest package was of 32 LPA.

There are adequate amount of scholarships available which grants around 80k per year with the total fees around 1.8 Lakhs per year. The employment opportunities are provided according to the market. There are more IT companies for recruitment.

There are many clubs for co curricular activities. There are also many technical clubs. All the clubs hosts there regular activities or contests. The main fest of college is pratishruti which is a week long event. The library has a large variety of books available and we can issue upto 4 books at one time.

For computer science engineering the cutoff for general category was around 98 percentile and for hindi minority it was around 95-96 percentile. The application was done through the mht cet scores and it's respective site. After allotment of college we had to go there for confirmation and verification of documents

The faculties have a keen interest in their subject and they are passionate about it and are more focused on imparting their knowledge to us. Their are enough faculties for the students to converse with.
