- Curriculum is of Mumbai University which will helpful for placement as it is well-known University all over country . syllabus division for every semester is good .exam section is helpful for students they do provide awareness for examination for
- They provide drinking water and have staff for cleaning around 50 peoples.
- Timing of college is good we can develop our skills side by side
Dislikes
- Faculty here is well educated but they dont seem helpful they dont solves doubts of students not every faculty but most of them have ego and attitude acts like they work for free
- Classroom during summer classroom feels like a cooker they dont have good fans or AC in labs
- Examination section doesn't accept cash or online payment they want dd cheque every time which is hectic
Course Curriculum Overview
I choosed computer science engineering as this is a current trend . This course will help me to do my best in IT sector and currently the world needs computer so i will be in profit in future in terms of my career. This curriculum is of Mumbai University which prepares the students from basic knowledge to advance level so it will help me to compete in real world but it will not help me to invent any new thing from it as this curriculum is vast it takes a huge amount of presious time of the students to do shitty things which will not help them also some of the curriculum has very old things which we don't use in current time so its better to ignore it . The frequency of examination is semester is of six months in which we have two unit test and one semester exam which mumbai University conducts . because of exams some students can't do other things in thier life or develop their skills
Internships Opportunities
Our college placement is not that good the average package here they provide is around 3 to 4 lakhs. Many well known companies come in campus for placement.not everyone gets jobs but the students who do great in their academic does get a job . overall the placement is not good in datta meghe college.
Fees and Financial Aid
So in DMCE for computer science engineering BE, the fees are around 1 lakh for general students; they do increase every year .the complete cost of education is around 5 lakhs. They do charge charges and compulsory fees, but it's included in term fees. Lower-caste students can take advantage of scholarships, which lower their tuition fees. The placement cell offers not that good jobs to students; the average package is around 3 to 4 lakhs.
Campus Life
The name of our annual fest is technitude which is a grand festival of our college also many events happens they mostly held during december .the best thing in our college is the library it's very huge it has capacity of 100 to 150 students at a time and has every book that a engineer might need . Every classroom has projector by which the faculty can tech the students through slideshow etc .our college held sports day which encourages students to do good in sports.every branch has their clubs which develops skills of students in that field
Admission
I got admitted through mht cet exam and the cut off was around 94 percentile. Eligibility of this course is 12th hsc marks must be above 60 percent. Application form is provided on the college website and also in admission section of the college.mostly the admission is done by mumbai University . reservation is available for weaker sections and lower caste obc,sc,st,ews,etc
Faculty
The faculty here is well educated but their behaviour towards students is not good . faculty to student ratio is one professor teaches 60 students at a time so it becomes difficult to teach and give best experience at the time .most of faculty is of old thoughts and didn't evolved compared to current requirements of market.some of the faculty does great a job for students and encourage them to attend or take participation in events conducted by other colleges or firms .they do guide students to develop skills but at the end the student need to develop skills by their own .
