What Students Say

Likes

Location of the college is great. It very well near the mountains
Mussoorie is near and Rishikesh and Haridwar is with in 90 kms
The crowd is a mix of desi and sobo so it a nice environment

Dislikes

Faculties are very new they jave just completed there phd or masters
Management is now replacing old faculties the experience one with news to save cost
Does fake promises still now half the class have not got any internships. They does not bring good companies

Course Curriculum Overview

The course and curriculum is very much relevant but the good faculties are not there as they are not able to handle the class it self. They are very less experienced to handle pg students as of now there is a very much lack in the implementation part. The kpmg part is only good as industry person as kpmg employees teaches they divided the class into 2 parts to handle the large class

Class Size: 120Course Fees: INR 900000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee is nearly 18 lakhs without hostel. The college hostel starts from 180000 and goes upto220000 may have increased this year. There were scholarship for student above 80 percentage in whole Career and don't for for finacial help I tried for one of friend they did not even consider to give her a mba seat they just stuck her and did not give any finacial aid if u ask for help they will day they can only do the mba online free for you

Campus Life

Total 2 fests one is spandan during nov and second is sports in Feb. Both are just ok and another one is freshers where old student are not allowed only new comers are allowed. On second day all are allowed. Don't expect any big celebrity.

Admission

The application fee is 1250 or 1300 something no need to worry about any exam they just take input all student who is will to pay fees no donation is required and u must full fill the ugc guidance of 50% in graduation then it's all good

Faculty

The facility to student ratio is very low almost 100:1. The good facilities have left the college. Only in oil &gas u will find good faculties. The management is total give much power to facilities in case of marks and no power to make things better for students.

Interview Experience

You have give one online test and one pi just as a formality I have seen student how have not give is also so no need to worry u just need to have money for joining the the college is all yours. Every thing is just a formality

A peaceful college life,

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum was very good. The specialization which I chose was a very new concept and this university provides that particular specialization. The teaching methods were also very good with experienced teachers and weekly presentations also with different assignments.

Uttaranchal University is a gemstone!!

Placement Experience:

In digital marketing nearly 90% it the students are placed in top startup companies like the Boat, Minimalist and all who needs digital presence to sell their products. Jobs offered are of 50-80k a month and for MBA freshers this is a kind package.

Campus life

Placement Experience:

For masters student student from 3rd semester are eligible for the campus placement. For bachelor students from 6-7 semester students are eligible for the campus placement. Federal bank, taj hotel, Techmutant software solutions, cradlewise, patanjali, etc. many more companies are there which visit the campus. There is 60-70% criteria for students to get the placement as 60% are the eligibility criteria for many companies and some companies have 70% eligibility criteria for the placement. Our university has 85% placement in dehradun region as compared to other universities. My plans are taking a good job and work hard to become independent.

UPES MBA REVIEW (pov: a new student so no biases)

Placement Experience:

The placement rate is around 90%. Students become eligible for campus placements from the start of 3rd semester, although you can get in earlier through summer internship and ppos. Overall average package is around 8 lakh. Top 15% students get 14-17 lakh. Highest package for this year was 33 lakh. Many top companies like Amazon, Adani, EY, PwC, KPMG, Accenture, Adobe, Microsoft, Infosys, BlueDart, Dell, Deloitte, Genpact and more come to the campus. I aim on getting into big 4 consulting firms.

i think from 3 rd semsester students are eligble for campus placements iam from 1 sem thats why i didnt eligble for that higest is like 20 lakhs and lowest is 3 lakhs per anam they show 90 percent but actually only 10 percent of students get placed i am planning to get a job ncr

Insights of the college through student eye

Placement Experience:

At the end of end semesters college started to get internship and their are a number of them of every type. Students should choose it of any kind. For placement companies started to come in collage in 3rd semesters and one should apply for placement. Till now many companies were there including 99acers, Arvind fasion, Wipro, Google and so on.

UPES CSE Program provide the best insights!

No safety nets for getting admission in UPES as university is strict in taking students. UPES Engineering Admission Test also known as UPESAT has to be cleared. UPES has the best facilities!

Assessment test is there but that's not the only way of getting here. There are other ways too and students can go that way like on 12th score or sports quota because there are over 1000 new admission done every year. UPES was the lone place I tried and I got admission too....Read More

Admission are through an entrance for engineering which is called UPESAT. The best thing is the paper can be given anytime as it's online and if students want they can directly come to the university and then give that exam.
