Nice College

The management is quite good. Sometimes they want students to do some unwanted tasks like boring chatra Sansad type programs which as a student I feel they are very time wasting but at whole management is quite supportive and our dean is superb women.

One of my friends suggested me about this college. I basically belong to MIT School of Management campus which comes under MIT WPU. It's a pretty nice College and follows Trimester pattern rather than semester so that we can cover more subjects than other universities syllabus. but there is somewhat shortage of faculties for my department I feel sometimes. But there are some good things about this college is regular guest lectures and yoga sessions every Thursday which I found unique. I won't say it's the best in the city but still all N all it provides a good environment for a student to discover him/herself.

The course structure is pretty updated. We also have electives in each trimester which student can choose according to his/her wish. The trimester pattern makes it easy to attend 13-15 subjects each year. All n all curriculum is highly appreciable. we get good practical knowledge as well.

Yes, we do have a Summer internship in each year of degree study. And yes they do provide internships but for a First-year student, they don't provide that many good internships and generally they are not stipended base but college provide us full freedom to apply off campus and support student in many forms.

As far as placement and job opportunities are concerned college provides good job opportunity as compared to other colleges of Pune. Still, they are not the best but they are pretty nice to start with. Recently a senior of mine got approx 8 like PA package in some renowned company. But all depends on student knowledge after all.

There are many such as cultural events, traditional days and so many tech events like hackathon and coding events conduct in MIT. Not only in my college but on the whole MIT campus there are ample events conducted yearly. various tracking events, field/industrial visit, and rural immersion program also conducts

It's somewhat expensive as compared to other colleges.we have to pay 1.5l per year. But I can say it's because of the standard of college they are asking for so much money. Hopefully, I think 1.5l is worth it to pay. But because I was in the top 30 students in my entrance exams CET in whole India they may provide some aid or scholarship. This is not confirmed but they had given me some signal's regarding this. Hopefully, I can get the scholarship.

Maybe, but the chances are less you got the scholarship if and only if you get really good marks in entrance exams.

It's awesome. Though we have 90% attendance criteria and sometimes it feels like a burden but all n all I really feel good to be part of it. There are various extracurricular activities happen in college like sports, dance Singing competition MObs mono-acts and so many. Labs are pretty good most of the computer have internet connection all the time and gender ratio is very good. There is no discrimination against boys and girls there

I don't have much idea about hostel facility but The way the hostel is being made I can assume they are well to live in and most importantly the atmosphere here in my college is so good I think it is good to reside therein hostel. But as much as I know the hostel gates are closed by 9. And yes coming to mess a third party is providing mess facility names Shri Raj canteen which I think provide average quality food to students. But yes there service is good.

Yes, they are so helpful and MIT alumni network is pretty strong As I heard. They are now placed in good companies and the one who had started their start-ups wants to place MIT students.

Exams suck in MIT WPU. Yes, right you heard it right. As I mentioned above we have trimester pattern and yearly we have 3 trimesters. And for 1 single trimester, we have sometimes 3-4 exams including midterm and final exams. So you can't get rid of exams in MIT WPU. You have to face this.

We have to take an entrance exam that is MAH MCA CET. After that, we have to fill an admission form. After this, the college faculty tries to interview us and get us to know about the results. The admissions are not that difficult to get and I think they may enroll almost every student among applied

The faculties are highly qualified and almost all of them are having P.hd degrees. The way they interact with students is remarkable. This is the best part of this college but sometimes I feel like according to syllabus pattern the number of faculties seems like less than required otherwise they all are just awesome.
