But MNIT administration and Mess here in MNIT are equally bad. Faculties here are moderate. But overall one can have a good experience here.

The course curriculum is fantastic here and one gets to learn everything as per the course structure. It is both practical and theoretical based. Course curriculum mainly focuses on the current research areas in engineering fields like artificial intelligence. Regular seminars, workshops are held by big companies here to give us industrial exposure.

The college and hostel fees are separate in MNIT. The college fees include Institute fee and tuition fee along with the library, wifi charges. The tuition fee is free for SC/ST/ OBC and they have to pay only 16,700 as institute fee. For general students, total college fee is 61000 including tuition fee.
Fees and Financial Aid
I opted for top class SC scholarship here which gave me 75k rupees to purchase a laptop and 36k rupees which included my hostel fees and book bill. I was informed by MIT administration that I was eligible for this scholarship and I was only asked to give them documents that were required in the scholarship and then they applied for it and I was not required to do anything.
Campus Life
Campus life is amazing here in MNIT. The location of MNIT is in the main city of Jaipur which is an extra advantage for us here. World trade park and GT are two big city malls of Jaipur near to our college. The market is nearby so we can purchase goods for our requirement. We have many societies like technical society, dramatics society etc which are headed by creative arts and cultural society(CACS). Many extracurricular activities, competitions, and workshops are organized by these societies which include robotics workshop, dance workshop, drama workshop, code Friday etc. Debates are organized on national and political topics by National samaj Sevak society(NSS). TedX MNIT organizes ted talks in MNIT. There is a zine team focused on technical research in college and an automobile engineering team namely BAHA. The gender ratio is almost equal.
Hostel Facilities
In the first year, the hostel fees during the odd semester is 45000 and 31000 during even semester. From second year It is 31000 in the odd semester and 26000 in even semester. There are a total of 9 boys hostel and 2 girls hostel in MNIT. The rooms here are fine and there is no electricity and water problem as MNIT creates its own electricity. Wifi is provided in all hostel of MNIT. Bathrooms are clean and the hostel is cleaned daily. The hostel administration is bad and it takes months to fix damages in the hostel. Mess food is poison here. It is very bad and the mess staff's behavior is not good at all.
Alumni/Alumna
Alumni network is very strong in MNIT. our Fests are funded by the alumni. We also have a team of alumni community(ALCOM) which remains in contact with them. Alumni are a very integral part of our college. I never had a chat with any of the alumni. Seniors here are very helpful and they organize a meet every month with juniors to clear their doubts and guide them. SMP(student mentorship programme) is created by our seniors to guide the new first-year students and make them familiar with college.
Admission
I cleared jee main 2017 exam with general rank under 24k and my sc category rank was 537. After clearing the exam I had to fill my college choices on the basis of my ranking on JOSAA website. I filled MNIT computer science as my first choice which I got in the first round of seat drawing because it was the best I could get using my jee main rank and also it was in close proximity to my home, it also is one of the top 5 NITs of the nation. I went to MIT on the 4th of July as it was the NIT nearest to my home town and there I freeze my seat choice. After that when all the rounds of seat-filling choices were completed, I had to pay my fees and submit all the required documents to get admission in the college.
Faculty
Faculties here in MNIT are moderate. Some of them do have sound knowledge in their respective fields and some of them are graduated from prestigious IITs. some of them has done research work in foreign. Despite being knowledgeable they are not able to share their knowledge with us and they do not have any interest in teaching. Students get bored attending their classes.
