Course Curriculum Overview

5

MBBS is a vast subject. We are taught clinical application of each and every topic. I always wanted to serve people and deep dive into the nuances of human health issues. Teaching methods should be purely clinical based so that we can cure patients. We have three internal assessment and a final exam during an academic year. Exams are bit tough as we have to cover vast syllabus within limited time.

Internships Opportunities

4.5

MBBS offers internships on the 5th year. Interns are subjected to different patients according to clinical postings. After internship, students can apply for post graduation. Internship offer a handsome amount of stipend to the students.

Fees and Financial Aid

Tuition fee remains constant and there is no such increase. Since government bears all other charges, except for Tuition fees we only have expenses of books and stationary items. Scholarships are available for economically weaker students.

Campus Life

4.5

Many fests like intracollege fest Aurora and Intercollegiate fest like Synapse are held. Books from library can be issued by library card. Projectors are fitted to have a advanced learning with all the rooms having ACs. College offers many extra curricular activities. Sports facilities like swimming, badminton, cricket, basketball are there. There are many club's and social groups.

Hostel Facilities

3.5

The rooms are spacious enough for 3 students. Clean water for drinking and sanitation is available. The quality of meal is good but bit costly. Menus are different on different days of week. The hostel is inside the medical premises and have enough security guard.

Admission

Admission is done through counseling conducted by MCC. You have to attend NEET with a minimum age of 18years and get a minimum cut-off of 640 to get a seat. Application form and fees are given on NTA website. Reservation benefits can be availed.

The teachers here are really helpful in making us understand our subject. Every single teacher have done post graduation from a premier medical institute and excelled in their own individual field. They help us during our ward rounds and around patients. During practical sessions their is a faculty to student ratio of 10:1. We are allowed to interact with them anytime within college time.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum is well organized by the authorities based on the latest medical aspect of our society. Practical classes and regular postings in hospital helps in better understanding. Being the only hospital in nearby cities, our hospital provides us a good exposure to varity of cases. Our Associate proff and HODs also look upto them and help us gain more real world experience. The best aspect of this field or if I have to say Why have I chose it is to serve the society. Absence of well qualified doc at the times of emergency is one of the leading causes of mortality in developing countried like India. Being in this profession, I just want to help people around me.
