TCET is a decent college!!

They included everything in theory but the practical curriculum was not as in depth as expected. It was the first batch of Cyber security so, there was a security concern on the institute's infrastructure as well. Currently I am in third year and I see things getting changed now.

For all the courses it's the final year and because ours is the first batch of cyber security we thus far haven't received any intimation. However, placements cell has invited us this year which is the third year and have promised us that as soon as we enter the final year, we will get opportunity for placement and our placements will be in the range of 5-6 lakhs an annum.

Fees are always a crucial thing to check upon as they keep on increasing the fees every year by 10-12k. With the help of EBC, One can deal with this issue as well but there is a huge paper work needed to be done in the college to be applicable for scholarships.

Our annual fest is Sojourn and unlike other Mumbai colleges we don't have every department fests and all. In terms of sports we have a gym on the fifth floor and also a recreational activities room that has carrom boards and table tennis tables. Our sports ground is right outside the college and is used for playing football and cricket.

MHT-CET is compulsory as students have to get out of mindset that one can get admissions through management quota just by paying double fees. Yes there are a few seats under management quota but most seats get filled through entrance only.

The faculties of Cyber security branch are very helpful. They play a good role of being a mentor as well as a friend in need. They believe in transparency between the faculties and the students thus helping us student to gain more insights of how actually institute manages the education policies
