Likes

As it is online university so everything from learning to exam all things are online.
There is no minimum attendance rule, so students can freely learn whenever they want.
The portal is very easy to use and clean ui experience, everything is well organised.

Dislikes

Fees is little bit high as compared to other colleges.

When i took admission in 2022 , fees was 41000 per year but now it increased to 45k per year. And there is no hidden examination or any other activity fees. Re examination fees is 1000 per subject. Regular placement drives also takes place.

Admission

There is no entrance exam needed. Any one who passed 12th can be eligible All things are available on their official webiste Amityonline.com There is only one time exam in the end of semester and one time assignment submission during semester.

1 Faculty is average. 2 Students have to learn by themselves. 3 Live classes are only conducted on weekends. 4 There are doubts sessions also in which you can clear your any doubts related to you subject. 5 Webinars also conducted regularly. 6 during exam season live classes conducted frequently

Course Curriculum Overview:

I choose the BCA program because of my interest in software development and web technologies. The curriculum’s focus on core subjects like Java, C++, and Database Management Systems (DBMS) was a major deciding factor, as these are the building blocks for a career in IT. ?The syllabus could be updated more frequently to include emerging technologies like Cloud Computing or AI/ML as core subjects rather than electives. Moving away from traditional rote learning toward more project-based learning would be beneficial. More frequent industry guest lectures would also bridge the gap between academia and corporate life The exam will be I would rate the difficulty as moderate. If you stay consistent with your lab work and internal assignments, the end-semester exams are quite manageable. The technical papers (like Mathematics or Architecture) tend to be the most challenging.

The Good and the Bad about BBD University by a second year student

Placement Experience:

Placement in my college are very very average. I say below average because the placement average package of average 500 students was around 4 lakhs. And there are more than 10,000 students in my college. So the placement is very low. And the highest package for BCA, was around 10,00,000 and engineering around 20,00,000. An MBA was also around 13 to 14 lakhs. So the placement is very bad in my college.

From the 5th sem we eligible for the campus placement, There are various highly-reputed companies that come for the placement such as Microsoft, Paytm, Wipro, Infosys, Capgemini, hcl, etc. Their average package is 2.2 lakh per annum And the highest package is 10 lakh per annum, The average of students for the placement is 80-90%. My plan is to get a good placement from there and to do a job for one or two years after that I will prefer higher education.
