Course Curriculum Overview
The major point of me choosing the curriculum was its emphasis on the core and basics of the subject,the curriculum provides a framework for seeing the society with a scientific political lens, the area's which can be improved are the introduction of more applied paper's, The timing of exams are good and the difficulty level is satisfactory
Internships Opportunities
The major internship role available in my course was of resercher and I got the internship through the college as a researcher for a book on Unsung heroes on freedom struggle in Delhi and NCR region,Vice chancellor summer and winter intership is also provided to the students with a stipend of around 10000 rs,i myself also got 10000 stipend for my internship
Fees and Financial Aid
The tution fees are increased upto 10 percent whenever required,but you can also get scholarship and financial assistance through vice chancellor scholarship program and financial assistance program to the socially weak students of SC/ST and OBC, i hadn't applied for any job though i got internship opportunity through the college
Campus Life
The Campus life at DU is great means one get to enjoy the annual fest held in different colleges from February to April month,A large range of books are available in the libraries with newspaper and journals,if you are interested in sports the DU is a great place for you...you can play all the major sports like cricket, football, basketball ball, indoor games etc and competition are held in University every year, social groups are run by the students like women welfare group, students union like ABVP and NSUI
Admission
The elegibility of the course now is decided by the Mark's scored in the CUET examination, the registration for the admission is done through the Portal of Delhi University and seat is alloted by the college's based on one's choice of college, reservation is given based on SC/ST,OBC and EWS ,the exams are held on time and difficulty level is medium,the scope of improvement is in the transparency of the admission through providing cutoff as done earlier
Faculty
The number of faculty members required are satisfactory in relation to the number of students,the faculty members posess good teaching skill and have a good relation with the students the teachers are available whenever a student needs guidance or have any query
