All you need to know about BIT MESRA

The worst department as per many seniors and including me too is ECE. The proffesors genuinely want to fail the students, although there are some good proffesors but majority of them are just too strict.

Internships are also good but for only circuital branches. Our seniors have bagged decent internships in Microsoft, Google etc. But it is off campus. Stipend will be around 50k a month in a decent company. It will be after your 3rd year or 6th semester.

The placements are declining day by day. In 2022 the average package was around 14lpa and highest was 56lpa but after that it has decreased significantly. Percentage of students have also declined . In ECE around 80% students get placed with an average package of 11lpa . Companies like Nvidia do visit the campus.

The total tuition fees of my course is around 1800000/- including hostel charges. There is also a scholarship available but it is very difficult to avail it, only above 9.9 cgpa students get full scholarship amount. Tuition fees are increasing year by year.

The events of this college are very bad. Even bitotsav which is the main event of this college is not upto the mark. It is held in February or march. Library is good, you can find all sorts of books. Classrooms are well equipped with Air conditioners and everything. There are also many clubs you can enter but only few of them actually matter like 180dc, a consultancy club and coding clubs.

No air conditioner in room is the biggest setback. Meal quality is good compared to other hostels. Mess charges around 5000 a month and hostel accommodation around 20000 per semester. If you rent pg it's best in kantatoli. You have to take bus everyday to reach college.

Basically you have to secure a rank between 30k to 40k in jee mains to get admission in ECE course. If you have any reservation it goes upto 50k. Admission is done through josaa and csab counselling. You'll get around 7 days after csab round to come to college and finish your admission if you got a seat .

The proffesors are well qualified and the student to proffesor ratio is also not bad. But the problem is there are some proffesors who are just strict But Also there are some proffesors you'd absolutely fall in love with, their method of teaching everything like D.s acharya of BEE department .
