The main reason to choose this course is its demand in the IT sector . The curriculum of the course is relevant with the industry norms but the course also has a lot of subjects which are unecessary and outdated . These subjects need to be removed from the curriculum as soon as possible . Morevover college needs to adopt more practical approach towards the subjects to make the students job ready . Regarding the frequency of the exams , there is one mid term and end term and then there are practicals . The difficulty level of the exams is moderate due to which students have enough time to focus on their skills as well

I am currently in my second year of the engineering and there have been very few internship oppurtunites till now . But at the same time i am very proud to say that college is making sure that each student is working on some projects so that when the companies come students have a good resume to represent themselves . If the student is dedicated enough then he or she can make it and get a good job placement or internship

The placement cell of our college is very acitve and has a good track record . Each year 90 % of the students get placed in our college and average package is 10 Lakhs per annum for my course . The famous companies which come to hire in our campus include microsoft , accenture , amazon , delloite , google etc The highest package till now is 52 lakhs per annum offered by microsoft. My plan is to get placed in one of the companies mentioned above with a good annual package

Tuition fee has been segregated into five categories according to your ranks in VITEEE . The tuittion fees starts with 2 lakhs per year in first category and there is increment of 1 lakh as the category increases. Since I am in second category my tuition fees in 3 lakh per year . I have no information regarding the scholarships in the college

My campus life has been pretty average to very honest . One of the main reasons is that i am a sportsperson and the sports infrastructure of the college is under developed . Apart from that the clubs in our college are very active and there is always some event going on in the college . So it can be said that for a person who is intersted in any other thing apart from sports will have an amazing campus life

The hostels in VIT are quite expensive if we compare it to the facilities they provide . The menu of the mess looks quite interesting but the taste does not live upto the name of the dish mentioned in the menu . Overall the hostel life is not that amazing due to lot of time and sound restrictions . As a hosteller i would like to advise anyone who joins the college to live in a PG

VIT conducts its own examination known as VITEEE . The rank in this examination decides your admission process and your eligiblity of the course . It also decides your tuition fee category . There is no reservation cirteria in VIT and the only way to get admission in VIT is to get a good rank in the above mentioned exam . The exam is conducted once a year and is of JEE mains level

At VIT Bhopal University there is 100 % doctoral faculty and the approach to teaching varies from professor to professor . Most of the professors have a deep understanding in their respective fields and can prove out be very helpful in research work apart from your regular curiculum. Although faculty to student ratio is bit debatable as sometimes the size of classes is so much that professor is not able to interact with the class efficiently
