Likes
- Faculties are good and teaching is also very good. And the students living in the hostel are very secured as students are allowed to go outside the campus only after parents permission and approval from proctor and supervisor.
Dislikes
- The distance from girls hostel to college is 1.5km (from girls hostel) and 3km( from boys hostel) and students have to walk and in summer season it becomes very tough. And in hostels there is water scarcity in drinking water as well as in washrooms.
- Also there is possibility of no current sometimes which major problem specially day before exams.
Course Curriculum Overview
Course curriculum is up to mark and the syllabus and division of subjects in every semester is perfect. The learning aspect is very beneficial for students to get placements in good company if they study well and achieve cgpa more than 8.
Fees and Financial Aid
My complete cost for btech computer science technology (specialisation - health informatics) in category 1, is 16 lakhs 40 thousand . Exam for cholarships are also available which we have to clear and many competitions like quizes and hackathons also occurs.
Campus Life
There are numerous student clubs, cultural chapters, and festivals that encourage participation and creativity. Almost every religious ocassions are celebrated here organised by different clubs. In library there are various types of books which a student can issue for 15 days. There are areas for games and sports. Sports Tournaments also occur. All the classrooms have digital facilities, and there are almost labs for every branch except few.
Hostel Facilities
There are 1 to 6 bedded rooms(Flat or bunked). Some AC rooms are also available, children are allowed to use AC only for 4 hrs at night . In room there is one personal cupboard, table and bed. And a common window and mirror. During hostel counselling you have to fill the room choices according to your choice and room will be alloted on the basis of VITEEE rank. But in hostel there is water scarcity and loadshedding can happen sometimes. WiFi speed is moderate sometimes WiFi don't get connected. Mess food quality is good and taste is okayish. some menu are tasty too.
Admission
You have to clear VITEEE exam. You have to do Registration by filling out the form. After the results are out you have to apply for the counselling on the basis of your rank. There is no rank cut off for bhopal campus you can apply for counselling with any rank. Then you can get a course from any of your preferences and your category may vary from category 1 to category 4 or 5. The Fee structure is different for every category . The difficulty level of VITEEE is moderate. It is of 10+2 level ( pcmb or pcb)
Faculty
Almost all the faculties are doctorate. And teaching in this college is good. The faculty to student ratio is 60:1 Almost all the faculties teaches good. You can interact with teachers and approach ability whenever you face any difficulty.
