Course Curriculum Overview
Every class is of 55 minutes. Teacher teaches well but syllabus is not as today's world But they teach languages like c, python give knowledge of Matlab, AutoCAD, dsa. Teachers should focus on practical knowledge Writing code on blackboard or dictating notes can't help to learn these languages. Teachers can solve doubt but you have to learn languages on your own.
Placement Experience
Placement is not so good. Students mostly prefer off campus but college conduct on campus placement with average package of 400000 per annum but it is highly competitive because number of placement offers are lower than the students apply. College also charges some amount for internship preparation. They show highest package of 72 lpa but it is from uem jaipur not uem kolkata.
Fees and Financial Aid
Tuition fee for first semester is 100000 and per semester from second is 85000. They take extra 1200 per semester for semester exam. And also charges amount for internship cell. The total cost reaches upto approx 8 lakh
Campus Life
Overall campus experience is good. You see every next month something is going in college Some type of fest some type of competition, quizzes , seminars. They conduct many fest aslo some of them are uemcon , eutopia, Estascia. There are many clubs too. There is an inter college cricket competition in the name of ICL.
Admission
You can take admission by taking wbjee exam takes place in last week of april and you have to score minimum 16000 rank for any computer science branch. Must have 60% hi maths. Form release in the month of last week of December and it cost 500. There is a state quota for west bengal student. Exam takes place 1 in a year.
Faculty
The teachers are M.tech, Ph. D, MSC, LLM, MBA and ME qualified. There are total 310 teacher. Teachers are overall good and supportive. Some teachers are most helpful in your academics. If you do any innovation or want to file patent college and there teachers are gone a take care of that
