A comprehensive review on VIT Chennai: Challenges and Overall Experience

I'm interested in Computer Science, so did I chose this course. and curriculum of VIT is very advanced and latest. So no doubt on that with practical learning. It actually does we get assignments on practical level to get hands on experience. For now its upto date and good. We have 2 CAT exams and one Final exams. Mostly common in many places. it is difficult as the competition is also high with many toppers.

After 6th sem students are eligible for campus placements. There are many companies that come to the campus from TCS to Adobe. Highest was 75LPA and median is about 8LPA. Almost every student is placed 99.9% My plan is to go for placements.

The fee depends on different tiers on what rank you get in the entrance exam. From 2L to 5L. Tuition fees do not increase. But hostel fees do. There are very few scholarships only to the top 1000 students and very poor below the poverty line. There are research internships provided for experience. Not stipends. Awards are given in many competitions. Many club responsibilities people can go for.

2 annual fests happen. TechnoVIT technical fest which happens in August. Vibrance is the cultural fest that happens in March. Everything is available in library and access to all journals is also given in digital access too. Classrooms have projectors and smart board. Few gallery classrooms have AC. Labs are equipped with AC. All kinds of sports and facilities are available. Yes there are many with more than 100 clubs. and societies also NSS and all. It creates a great impact and improves our skills.

Bed, table, and basic items are available.Other items are available in the campus which can be brought. Meal is good, depends on which hosyel block and caterers you are in. and how you adapt to it. Hostel counseling happens for students to choose what type of rooms they need. It comes around 1.5L for Non Veg and 4 NAC room. Melalottiyur is the locality. Near Kandigai and in Vandalur Kelambakkam road.

Eligibility was 65%+ in 12th boards. We need to give VITEEE which is the entrance exam. Application form is available on the main website. Application fees was 1000 at my time. Application dates are closed as of now. No reservations. it goes every day for a week woth 3 slots people can choose. moderate difficulty less than JEE Mains level More transparency in ranks provided is necessary.

All the faculties are PHD holders so no problem with that. Faculty to student ratio is decently well with 1: 6. They do write on board too and use projectors to present. On a daily basis we get to interact with them. We can ask any doubts or approach them
