Remarks

Good faculty and good infrastructure but the office people here actually aren't that sportive.

Entrance Preview

Admission at the affordable price. Many scholarship and fee concession is given to eligible students. Training and placement programmes.Placement for eligible candidates.Many Industrial links to provide technical training in research and development and innovative projects

Fee Structure And Facilities

Cet fees are about Rs.49,500 only and then college expenses including tuition fees all come to an amount of Rs.20,000 only And now transportation charges cost up to Rs.22,000.And the fee concession for eligible students is given up to Rs.19,000 approximately.

Fees and Financial Aid

I don’t know about fee concession for General category students, but every student, whose family income is less than Rs 9 lakh per annum, can now avail interest-free loan for a period of five years. Candidates having income and caste certificate can avail scholarship and fee concession from Karnataka government

Hostel Facilities

It's above average!! The conversation which I have had about mess food with a couple of my friends who are from different colleges has brought me to the conclusion that mess food served in our hostel is much better than other colleges!!! The special mess is pretty good!!! However, most of the students including me complain about mess food because of Ghar k khane ki Baat hi Kuch aur hi hoti hai. However generally speaking mess food in our hostel is pretty good!!

The college has a strong alumni network. The co-founder of the company INFOSYS has passed out through college having the same management.

Exam Structure

First, the three internals are conducted for 15 marks in which the best of two is considered and then 5 marks are awarded for assignments. Then later externals are conducted for 80 marks and evaluated by VTU centers and marks are added to get the total score of 100

Admission

The KCET (Karnataka Common Entrance Test) is the entrance exam conducted for students who are seeking admission into courses related to Engineering, Medicine, Pharmacy, Agriculture, and Dentistry. After getting a good rank in K-CET candidates undergo allotments of colleges and get admitted to these colleges

Placement stats are pretty good, offers above 50LPA have also been granted to students, but they are not as common. With a good cgpa, 5+ LPA can be ensured. Students from 6th sem become eligible for placements, companies such as TI, Apple, Daimler Trucks etc have come for placements

review of NIE North college, Mysore

I got this college through KCET. My rank was 9k and I am pure general merit student, so I got this college in 2nd round. I personally prefered this college more at all which I could have got for my rank because of the experience of the college and main factor was the place where college is placed that is Mysore.
