Cuk the land of education

College is very nice but some things have to be in the notice of management.

After my 12th exam I had just given cucet and luckily I got admission there. And to be honest I did not try for another college so I am in cuk today. My entrance marks were not that good but I got admission because of my NCC certificate. And cuk is the central university so I did not try anywhere else.

The course I have chosen is very interesting. So I will assess it has 10/10 course. Because the course has much scope in the future and it is so interesting to know about the earth and about the rocks around us and so it is amazing to explore new places.

No, my college doesn't provide an internship. I think this is the bad thing in our university that it does not provide internship.

There are no placements from the central university of Karnataka and there is no surety for getting the job. I think this is a very bad thing in cuk, being a central university it does not provide the placements and job opportunities. And many students suffer for it.

Fresher's, geode and Ankur event are the main events in the cuk . There are more events which are celebrated by individual departments like psychology department celebrates many events than all other departments in the cuk. To be practical I think psychology department is the best for the events.

Fee structure comparing to other colleges is very less. It is feasible. But in 2nd year they increased our fees. In the 1st year the department fees were just 500 rs for ews ( economically weaker students ) but all suddenly in the 2md year fees has increased till 6500 rs and if the student is late in paying fees then the fees will be increased in 10 %.

There are many scholarships based on the ranks in the semester and also the caste-based scholarships.

Campus life is very good. There are no problems with the caste or race in the university. All the people be together and respect each other.the extracurricular activities like sports are encouraged by the south zone competition. Library facilities are provided. Labs are separate in every department.

Hostel facilities - 9/10 Mess good - 9/10. The hostel is good. There are 2 girls hostel and 3rd girls hostel is in the construction zone, there are 2 boys hostel and the 3rd boy's hostel is in the construction zone. Girls and boys hostels are nearly 2 -3 km far.

All the seniors are very nice and good in behavior. They are helpful in many ways like in studies and also in guiding us in thinking about the future.

Almost time we get enough time to be prepared for the exam and sometimes it be a hectic day. Exams are held in the classrooms of the department and the external lab exams are conducted in the lab of the department itself. While exam the student will sit alone on the bench and the examination will be hard.

They had checked my certificates and asked me a few questions about the subject and about my hobbies. My NCC certificate helped me to get admission in cuk ( I guess ). They asked me about my interest in geology. The admission process was only the involvement of students, not their parents.

I would like to assess the faculty with 10/10 rates because in faculty in university is very nice with great knowledge and experience. They guide us very level and the lectures are very nice. The best thing is whenever we need help related to studies or any other knowledge thing they guide us.
