My College Experience

Management is good and up to the mark. Medical facilities are also good. Food facilities are also good. The library is also good.

I have learned so many things during my college days including teamwork, better communication skills, discipline, etc. Rules and regulations were quite good which helps the students to live a discipline college life. Student gets a good environment to explore their personal interests due to the regular extracurricular programs.

The course curriculum was quite impressive and helpful to the student. All the courses offered by the university comprises well-managed syllabus and relatable to the business industry due to which it also helps the students in their respective future. All the courses are well designed we can say.

Yes. The college provides internship to each and every student of every particular course. Stipend depends on the type of company we get the internship.

Placement part is pity good. And all the students of every course gets the multiple job opportunities in their particular placement time period. To every course, a placement head is alloted and students get the opportunities for interviews in multiple companies of their respective fields.

There are various events which took place every year. One of the famous event which used to happen every year is the college fest with the name - Urjaa. Urjaa is the yearly college festival which comprises various small activities like music, art, technologies.

Fee structure of the college is quite expensive as compared to any college or university in the town. Our university charges fees per semester. Students have to deposit - One-time admission fees, tour fees, security fees, computer and wifi charges at the time of admissions.

There is a discount on academics fees of 15-20% for the students who are domicile of Uttrakhand and their family income is lower than 2 lacs.

Campus life is good as it is an open campus. No such boundations are there. Sports grounds are very well and various sports activities took place from time to time. The gender ratio is also good. We also see the diversity in the students at the university has the students from almost every state of India.

Hostel facilities are average. The college has a huge food court which offers a wide variety of food for every student. The wide variety of food comprises of south Indian food, fast food, Kathi rolls, main course meals, etc. College also has a cafeteria or refreshment area where we get the various coffees and other confectionary items easily.

In my case. This is a negative thing. Alumni network is not up to the mark. My personal experience is not good.

Exam structure is simple. Exam structure comprises of two exams in a semester. First one is mid-semester exams which held in the middle of a semester and the final exam is End semester exams which are held at the end of a particular semester. University uses the grading system to grade the marks.

The process was not that complex at that time. The admission process was comprised of a few steps : 1- First basic criteria was - Minimum marks to get the admission in graduation was 50% at the time of my admission. 2- the Second step was Direct Interview, which comprises of a moderate interview. 3- Group Discussion was the last step of the admission process.

All the faculties are well qualified and well experienced in their respective field. Student to faculty ratio is also good as compared to the most of the other colleges in the town. Faculties are helpful and ready to help the students even after the class timings.
