I took WBJEE in 2010. And my rank was around 10219 in WBJEE. My first choice was to study electrical engineering.
Course Curriculum Overview
The course curriculum is constitute by west bengal university(wbut) of technology there was a very little our college could do about course and course curriculum was remodify in 2010 by but that was when we were in 1st year. The course was good but not upto the mark of modern technology, it was like average and far behind from national standard.
Internships Opportunities
There was no internship provided by college. We personally arranged it from outside.We talked to college authority about internship but they said us to arrange ourselves. They just arranged a factory visit at Coca cola near Taratala. But the visit was for only single day. So my experience about this was not good at all.
Placement Experience
In batch 2014, there were very few companies came. The companies which came to college on direct campus interview were TCS placed 27 students (3.17 Lacs), Techmahindra placed 21 students (2.5 Lacs).
Fees and Financial Aid
There is no such scholarship offer by college. But all govt. scholarship(like half fee and full free scheme for economically backward student depending on their economic standard and merit cum means scholarship for minority student is applicable on admission in our college .There is no problem to avail a educational loan from any branch of any bank as our college is approved by AICTE.
Alumni/Alumna
Our college was started in the year of 1999. there are lot of student from ECE,IT,CSE department are placed in big MNC like TCS, CTS, Erricsson, Infosys, Wipro. There are a alumni celebrations every year in the month of Jan-feb. Our seniors are really helpful throughout our 4 year in college in all aspect like study and project and also still now they are in touch with us and helping to take big decisions in life.
