Apart from the crowd, the college campus, hangouts, and the canteen should drive the students to go for Thakur. This will be an ideal choice for any suburban student having an average (or above average) marks. Arguably Thakur is one of the best college .

I took up Company secretary course which was a bit difficult course as its passing percentage is very low but i got 290 out of 400 in the entrance exam of company secretary and i cleared out the first level. Overall its a superb college for sports. So i choose this college.

BMS and BMM faculty is really good with professors having good knowledge about their subjects. The faculty for B.COM is just about average with a few professors who have a mere 2-3 years of experience. Major communication is in English but a majority of teachers are found speaking in Hindi (the feel of Minority Quota) while a few use broken English.

The placements were good enough for everyone and were provided by good companies. The salary offered was according to the skills and marks of the candidate. As per my knowledge, the average salary offered in the previous year was about Rs. 25,000 per month, the highest was about Rs. 40,000 per month and the lowest was Rs. 18,000 per month. About 80% of the students got scholarships from the college. The college has a good placement cell and is pretty effective. It works well and helps you in improving your skills.

Thakur college has a wide range of placements. This college also has a placement cell which is organised and maintained by the administration and the professors. Most of the students come here to take the admission for the sake of the placement. Most of the students graduating from this college get placed in some firm or the other.

The Thakur college is also famous for its festival. Every month, there is a festival organised by the college departments and this college has a main festival known as Taarangan. This college is also famous for its NCC and NSS units. The campus crowd are normal with a strict attendance, and no ragging is taking place in the college. Sports is given the main importance at this college.

No I have not availed any of the loan or scholarship and I don't have any knowledge about it. I think there would be great offers for loan for the students and also great openings for scholarships.

Within the campus there is Nescafe tea stall and a local sandwich guy, the two of which are the hot favourites of any Thakur student. CCD, Pizza Hut, Dominos and a few other expensive food parlours are one of the greatest hangouts nearby the college. For those who dont want to spend a lot, there are few tapris outside the college. Also, one can cross the highway and have Tibbs Frankie in Thakur Complex. Movie lovers can enjoy the screening in multiplexes like Fame, Cinemax and Kulraj Broadway.

The college infrastructure is good and decent. Classrooms, library, labs, sports and games are available in the college. Food provided in the canteen is good.in canteen all food are available.you just buy and have food.food are good of quality.good for health.

The alumni is very good. The senior student are very good and friendly with other students. They help other students whenever it is needed and they too conduct some activities for the junior students the peons are also friendly with the students

The exams structure are similar to that of other colleges.the paper is not very difficult.the papers are set keeping all the students in mind sso that every one could pass out. all exam are doing according to rules and regulations of Mumbai University.

I completed my 12th then I applied online form in all good college in Mumbai. according to merits list this collage selected my name. You have to apply offline form also to take addmissions to college. you have full fill all categories then you can take addmissions.

The teachers here are well-qualified in their streams. In the commerce department, most of them are PhDs and CAs with a very good mindset and are always ready to help you in any situation. The industrial visits are often organised in the college. The faculty ratio can be rated as 8/10. The teaching methods used here are normal, and the labs such as the computer lab have a virtual board and also have many other facilities.
