Likes

It provides good facility in labs. Classes are well furnished and all classes have air conditioner in them .
The majority faculty of the College is good. Staff is helpfull in academic activities.

Course Curriculum Overview

Well honestly the course curriculum is given by Mumbai University which is not up to date with current standards. But the curriculum gives the basic knowledge of all the areas. There are 3 exams held in every semester. UT 1,2 and end sem exams. The difficulty of the exam is quite normal if one follows the previous year questions. Also the college faculty gives important questions and notes

Internships Opportunities

College mainly provides unpaid internship through AICTE. The companies which came directly came for jobs and not for internship. There was mainly 1 or 2 company which came for internship. One of them was Zscaler company which offered a stipend about 10-15k / month.

Placement Experience

The college offers good placement cells. Although for 2020-24 batch student didn't got good placement offers due to high demand in IT. But the college has given placement upto 20 lpa in last year's. This year(2024) college has given various placement opportunities upto 5 lpa. Companies include TCS, Capegemini, Infosys etc

Fees and Financial Aid

The fees is quite constant which is 128000 Rs /year. If the student falls in EBC category the fees is halved for him . Also students who score above a certain CGPA in end sems are given option to opt for scholarship which lowers the fees for them . Also those who belongs to caste have lower fees than the general category.

Campus Life

The college has various clubs like AI ML club Robotics club, Google Services club etc. also the college has its festivals named Ojus which is done every year by the student council for the students. Also there department specific festival of Computer, IT ,EXTC ,CIVIL etc. College dont have sports .

Admission

The college accepts both MHT CET and JEE marks for the admission process. The college has special quota for the Jain minority students . The details regarding the exam are available on the college site. I got admission on the basis of MHT CET marks. I got around 80 Percentile and I secured addmission in 2nd CAP round .

Faculty

The majority faculty are friendly and have knowledge in their domain. There are some faculties which I guess are present in every college who doesn't have much knowledge and can't teach properly . Faculties are available during college hours . Some faculties have PhDs in their field and help students in their academics and for placement purpose

AS FOR PLACEMENT , TNP TRIES REALLY HARD TO GET STUDENT PLACED. MULTIPLE COMPANY VISIT THE CAMPUS. NAMELY INFOSYS, ACCENTURE, COGNIZANT, TCS, CAPEGEMINI, AMDOCS, HCL, TECH MAHINDRA, ETC MULTUPLE APTITUDE ASSESMENT AND CODING ASSESMENT ARE CONDUCTED BY COMPANIES. MANY STUDENT GET PLACED AT AVERAGE OF 4.5 . OFFER ARE LIKE 3LPA, 3,5LPA.4,5LPA, 7LPA, MAX 9LPA OR THIS YEAR BUT STILL IN MY OPNION STUDENT ARE NOT PUTTING ENOUGH EFFORT IN THEIR PLACEMENT DRIVES AND HAVE VERY CASUAL ATTITUDE. SO PERCENTAGE IS AROUND 40% AND I'LL NOT BLAME COLLEGE FOR THIS PERCENTAGE ATLEAST NOT TNP, CUZ FOR SOME REASON STUDENT ARE CLEARING FAILING HERE AS FOR ME I'M PLANNING FOR FURTHER STUDIES

There are placements in the college, but the company select only few like from hundreds they select only 9 to 10 students which are capable enough according to the standard who have done internships and have some experience in their field as the companies don't want to teach them from the starting

Placement Experience:

In Kit college their are some rules for placement drive. In 7th sem companies started to visit our college. During my placement my engineering percentage is around 70 and I am able to attend every drive. Once student get placement offer from one company that student is not allowed to apply next company which package is near to previous company. Placement in Kit college in my year is 70 to 75%. The unplaced students have decided to go for MS.

SAKEC- best college ever

Placement Experience:

Sakec have many job/internship opportunities. The college provides different trainings and intership opportunities. Currently, in 2023-24, 42 students have alreday been placed with 25 LPA (highest CTC offered). College have tie-up with many reknowed companies. The highest salary package offered is 24 LPA. The average salary package offered is 6 LPA. My plan after getting the degree of bachelor of engineering is to go for masters and acknowledge more and more knowledge in engineering filed. And be my level best. I'm also looking forward for opportunities to go abroad for my mtech degree. Future my expectations form college are High. I'm sure being a student of such prestigious college with help me alot.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I choose this course because I have genuine interest in civil engineering. The faculty student ration is 1:50. Our faculties are well qualified they are master's degree holders in design and structural engineering. Some of them are PhD holders and many of them have done their master's from NIT and IIT. Term exams are scheduled after every 2 months. it is easy to pass because it consists of 30 marks only.

It is a great college for learning

Course Curriculum Overview:

I'm choosing this course because I'm interested in programming languages. Faculty members here are at the best level. They are very supportive and knowledgeable. They made lectures most interactive. All faculty members are well-qualified and experienced. The course is very vast but the teaching faculty cover it through their extra lectures and practicals.

Best in the neighborhood, convenient to reach , easily accessible for all the student's , good faculty and good quality of education, amenities available are great along with the essential facilities. Exposure to national level competitions along with the motivation to attempt them.Practical knowledge is also provided with the theoretical knowledge

Completely Honest and unbiased Review of A.P. Shah as a student studying for three years now

I applied to 2 colleges LTCOE and AP Shah Institute of Technology since these were the only two with fair reputation and had Data Science in their curriculum, my first preference was LTCOE since it was nearby my home but unfortunately I wasn't able to get in the college due to their higher cutoffs I got my second college of choice. I got accepted by my CET scores but JEE scores are also valid for admission. The admission process was pretty simple, fill a few forms pay the first amount of fees and you're good to go....Read More
