Good teaching facilities for civil engineering

Overall impression of the college is good but somewhere lack in placement.

Because the college belongs to my hometown and famous particularly for the civil branch.so I was interested to get the admission in civil engineering so I choose this college and along with facilities it is provided with a big campus, separate vehicle parking.

The curriculum is good for student according to their capacity and somewhat different from the nearby institute or can say different from university.the best part of the college is that it is government aided autonomous institute of Maharashtra which makes it a better college of this area

Our college provides internship for some of the branches like electronic and Electrical Engineering department.

There is the least placement for the civil engineering in the college whereas the placement for the computer science and its branch is good. The package of the Cs and it department lies between 4 to 5 lpa whereas Maximum package went for 7 to 8 lpa in the previous one two years.

The college celebrates alumni celebration along with there is one gathering for all of the student and one technical festival is known as prajwalan which is so much famous in gcoea where fund raised by the student to make the festival successful where different committee work together for a goal.

The fees structure is somewhat feasible.because the city Amravati is not so much expensive and hostels are provided for every student at least fees. generally, the fees of the college vary in between 60k to 70k for open category student and 15 k less than open for OBC category student.

There are three to four scholarship provided by college namely spandan, Siemens, alumni scholarship.

The campus life of the college is so nice. there is robotics club, cricket ground, gymkhana for a student who plays different sports and there is no gender bias and the ratio of girls and boys is nearly 50:50 expect some branch-like civil and mechanical.

The hostel facilities of the college are best at a minimum cost whereas the mess food is good. mess provides every type of food but after some time students get bored to eat the mess food.otherwise the hostel's facilities are at the top and water available for 24*7.

The alumni network of the college is a little good because the faculties used to invite them for an expert talk.

The exam structure consists of three exams bifurcated as class test 1,2 and end SEM exam. the full credits of the exam structure depend on 15 marks for each of the class test and 60 marks for the end SEM exam. the remaining 10 marks depend on the teachers assistant.

I was trying for JEE mains but due to some reasons I was unable to get a good college on the jee mains basis so at that time I gave a mhcet paper as optional and then I searched for good college in my residential area and got admission in government college of engineering on basis of mhcet

The faculties for the civil engineering department are best which allows the extracurricular activities and gives extra knowledge about field work, site work. the involved student to do more practice on instruments and encourage to do entrepreneurship.
