Course Curriculum Overview

This course teaches you the holistic ways of Ayurveda and it's clinical application that helps us to become the best ayurvedic doctor. The curriculum provided at this University prepares us to manage different clinical situations and treat the disease from the roots. The conduction of timely exams tests our capabilities and ensures we adapt better to become a better doctor in the future.

Internships Opportunities

There is 6 month internship in an Ayurveda hospital. Patanjali Ayurveda hospital is one of the best hospital to gain experience in Ayurveda field. Other hospitals are Rishikul and gurukul campus hospitals.

Fees and Financial Aid

Tution fee hike depends upon the inflation rates. It is likely to increase every 3 to 4 years. However, the complete course is affordable. The hostel fees is affordable for middle class people too. They also provide various scholarships for the students too.

Campus Life

Anually, fucntions like Charak jayanti and Basant panchami are grandely celebrated. The infrastructure is upto the mark. There is a central library which is accessible 24 hrs a day. Every classroom is facilitated by new smart boards. There are sports, dance and various cultural programmes which are conducted annually.

Hostel Facilities

The hostel are well equipped with tables, chairs, almirah and a bed. The meals are provided timely at the mess with different varieties of freshly cooked food. The registration process is easy and affordable.

Admission

This course is eligible for the 12th passed students with physics, chemistry and biology stream. Admission to this course occurs via NEET exam. One can find the application form for counselling on the official website of the university. One has to score minimum 50 percentile in NEET exam. Seats are also reserved for the SC/ST category.

Faculty

The teachers are highly qualified and no one is below a postgraduate level. They are helpful and approachable. The faculty to student ratio is upto the mark. The teaching Strategies of all the faculties are very efficient.

Review for QUADRA INSTITUTE OF AYURVEDA

Course Curriculum Overview:

Majority of subjects are really helpful with their clinical applications in either diagnosing or treating the patients but some other subjects like Sanskrit grammar, padartha vigyan and others are just irrelevant and pose no significant use, the exams get difficult with each passing years as you have to study around 5 subjects per year and each subject has 2 papers and you have to pass in both of them.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The increasing demand of ayurvedic and natural products and the motion of patients towards the ayurvedic medicine with no side effects influence me to choose this course. The curriculum of this course is as per the NCISM which prepares is very well for the future. We have 11 Formative Assessment and half yearly and annual exams and our FA's prepares us very well for the half yearly exams so that we don't need to cover the whole syllabus just one night before the exam and we have paper 1 and paper 2 of every subject. The difficulty level of the exam is moderate and it can be even more easy if we study well.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Course is good until 2015 but afterwards it becomes useless till 2021, literally batches after 2021 have the good syllabus and curriculum management. NCISM thought about students afterwards, CCIM literally don't know how to design a syllabus l, everything is so messy.

I chose this course because Ayurveda is a very wide field it is not a science it is like a Veda that we are reading so it has a huge scope in the coming era after Covid time. Students are to faculty ratio is completely fulfilled as per the norms of the NCISM committee Each and Every Single faculty had completed their MD ( maters ). As it's a professional course so the exam is according to the university and quite difficult to pass.

The admission criteria is completely based on your marks obtained in NEET UG entrance examination and is merit based, back in my time it was based on UAPMT and was merit based too, you can choose from around 7 to 8 Colleges in Uttarakhand which provides BAMS in which around 3 colleges are government and others are private.
