Tcet has better infrastructure as compared to other engineering colleges in Mumbai Suburbs
As it is autonomous college it's easy to score in exams

Some of the facility are untrained and don't teach properly

Course Curriculum Overview

Course curriculum is quite essy to understand and relevant.As TCET is an autonomous college exams are easy to crack. Students can score very good marks if they prepare well one week before exams. TCET publishes its own recourse book for five subjects for first year students.Every question asked in the exam is from the resource book provided by the college.However resource books are not published from second year onwards

Internships Opportunities

After first year they make you to do internship it's a part of curriculum. However you will not gain any technical skills or experience. They make you work with NGOs. But it's give you opportunity to enhance your soft skills.Also studets can apply for internship on their own

Placement Experience

Students can start doing internship from end of their first year. Placements needs some improvement. Accenture,zydus and oracle are major recruiters. However some students gets placed in JP Morgan as well. Students opting for off campus grab higher package upto 30 LPA

Fees and Financial Aid

Tution fees is 170000. Scholarship are available for EWS,TFWS,EBC,OBC and J&K students. Campus placements are not soo good. Average package offered is around 5LPA. Higest package is around 15 LPA. Students opting for off campus placements usually get higher placements.

Campus Life

Tcet offers a great campus life.There are various clubs and social bodies like NCC, NSS, Green club,TSDW, TedxTCET and many other clubs are only for specific branches. ACM is club for IT branch.Also there are technical bodies like shashtra, Tcet open source,GFG,GDSC etc. Library has many books and around 5-6 copies of every book students also get access to digital libraries. There are various sports events like Tspark and marathons are organised for frequent basis.

Admission

In order to get admission in tcet students are required to give entrance exam MHT CET or jee mains.However for J&K students entrance exam is not mandatory.In 2023 MHT CET cuttoff for IT branch was 96 percentile and it keeps increasing every year.MHT CET is conducted once in year and it's difficultly is moderate.

Faculty

All the faculty members are well educated. Students can clear the doubts in classroom, staffroom as well as through WhatsApp. Besides this, one mentor is assigned to a group of 20 students in order to address the issues faced by students in the college. Projector is available in every classroom and few professors opt for teaching through projector for better understanding and retention of complex concepts.

Placement Experience:

AS FOR PLACEMENT , TNP TRIES REALLY HARD TO GET STUDENT PLACED. MULTIPLE COMPANY VISIT THE CAMPUS. NAMELY INFOSYS, ACCENTURE, COGNIZANT, TCS, CAPEGEMINI, AMDOCS, HCL, TECH MAHINDRA, ETC MULTUPLE APTITUDE ASSESMENT AND CODING ASSESMENT ARE CONDUCTED BY COMPANIES. MANY STUDENT GET PLACED AT AVERAGE OF 4.5 . OFFER ARE LIKE 3LPA, 3,5LPA.4,5LPA, 7LPA, MAX 9LPA OR THIS YEAR BUT STILL IN MY OPNION STUDENT ARE NOT PUTTING ENOUGH EFFORT IN THEIR PLACEMENT DRIVES AND HAVE VERY CASUAL ATTITUDE. SO PERCENTAGE IS AROUND 40% AND I'LL NOT BLAME COLLEGE FOR THIS PERCENTAGE ATLEAST NOT TNP, CUZ FOR SOME REASON STUDENT ARE CLEARING FAILING HERE AS FOR ME I'M PLANNING FOR FURTHER STUDIES

There are placements in the college, but the company select only few like from hundreds they select only 9 to 10 students which are capable enough according to the standard who have done internships and have some experience in their field as the companies don't want to teach them from the starting

Kit College have piller's Foucus, Decipline, Process, Excillence.

Placement Experience:

In Kit college their are some rules for placement drive. In 7th sem companies started to visit our college. During my placement my engineering percentage is around 70 and I am able to attend every drive. Once student get placement offer from one company that student is not allowed to apply next company which package is near to previous company. Placement in Kit college in my year is 70 to 75%. The unplaced students have decided to go for MS.

SAKEC- best college ever

Placement Experience:

Sakec have many job/internship opportunities. The college provides different trainings and intership opportunities. Currently, in 2023-24, 42 students have alreday been placed with 25 LPA (highest CTC offered). College have tie-up with many reknowed companies. The highest salary package offered is 24 LPA. The average salary package offered is 6 LPA. My plan after getting the degree of bachelor of engineering is to go for masters and acknowledge more and more knowledge in engineering filed. And be my level best. I'm also looking forward for opportunities to go abroad for my mtech degree. Future my expectations form college are High. I'm sure being a student of such prestigious college with help me alot.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I choose this course because I have genuine interest in civil engineering. The faculty student ration is 1:50. Our faculties are well qualified they are master's degree holders in design and structural engineering. Some of them are PhD holders and many of them have done their master's from NIT and IIT. Term exams are scheduled after every 2 months. it is easy to pass because it consists of 30 marks only.

It is a great college for learning

Course Curriculum Overview:

I'm choosing this course because I'm interested in programming languages. Faculty members here are at the best level. They are very supportive and knowledgeable. They made lectures most interactive. All faculty members are well-qualified and experienced. The course is very vast but the teaching faculty cover it through their extra lectures and practicals.

Best in the neighborhood, convenient to reach , easily accessible for all the student's , good faculty and good quality of education, amenities available are great along with the essential facilities. i got in this college through mht cet and i wanted to go into tcet as it was near to my house and one of the main reason is placement. TCET has a very strong industry connection as well as political too. To get into TCET you have to give the MHT-CET exams and secure almost 95%ile score for tech branches for non linguistic minority.
