Supportive teachers and well mannered staff.
Their teaching style is also very good with latest tech.
The infrastructure is also good along with the other facilities.

Dislikes

Examination process is too slow with high waiting time
Sometimes they don't do proper checking in exams resulting in false results.

Course Curriculum Overview

The specific aspect which influenced me to choose their course is their easy exam patterns with high success/passing ratio. In order to prepare js for real world applications and further academic pursuits, they offer vacational skill based courses along with the generic academic courses. They should give extra time to weak students who find it difficult to understand some concepts so that they can score good marks in the examination. Their timings of exams and difficulty level are good except for the waiting timeframe for results which is 2-4 months.

Fees and Financial Aid

The complete cost of education including each and every expense is very pocket friendly. Even a student from lower middle class can afford their fees without any problem. The amount of scholarship and financial assistance is not fix, you'll have to talk to the staff of their office for more information on this matter.

They usually organize college fests in every 2-3 months. They've various books of diffrent varities in their library. And it's very easy to access those books by just giving an application to withdraw Any book for a certain period of time. They've smart classes in their each and every college along with an option of online classes They don't provide any sport or extra curricular activities because it's a distance learning college.

Admission

For UG courses, the person should be a 12th class passed out from a CBSE affiliated or any other government-registered association. On their official website. No, I didn't availed any reservation since I'm a general category student. The difficulty level is very low and they usually provide a gap of 5-6 days between all exams.

Faculty

The faculty to student ratio is good and efficient and it doesn't have any negative impact on our studies. They use latest way of learnings such as smart classes, online lectures etc and we usually have daily interaction with the faculties.

Shyam lal college not on my wishlist

Course Curriculum Overview:

Well i choose this course because I didn't got what I wanted. Many students are from arts background who got this course because they had no option. The curriculum is same as school all chapters and everything. The law section is new. About buisness and law and everything. Rest is same. Changes in curriculum is not in their hands. But if they could actually change the accounting syllabus. The timing of exams is normal 2:30 to 6:30. And internal test taken by perspective teacher are according to their time and class. They will take retest incase you didn't attended.

Underrated College- An honest opinion

Course Curriculum Overview:

I really was interested in finance and taxation from the beginning. This course aligned rightly with my interests. The curriculum is based on real world applications. Corporate accounting, financial accounting, company law, human resource management, these are very important considering change in the job market and business world. Not only real world applications but one can also go for further academic pursuit such as a master's degree and research. This makes the curriculum really diverse. Some areas of suggestions would be that in theory subjects there should be practical activities. Just like vestibular training. The time of exams is just right. After the completion of syllabus of a particular subject, we are given 10 days of preparation leave. The exams are moderate and it really tests our ability and knowledge based on our studies.

All about SRCC life, exposure, placements, faculty and my experience

Placement Experience:

For placements fifth semester student are eligible for placements. Since it is best commerce college. Companies like big 4, google, bank of America, Goldman Sachs, bcg, bain and co., Sbi, paytm, meesho and many more comes. The highest package was 36 LPA this year from meesho for senior analyst roles. Average package is 10 LPA. Most of the placements take place in consulting, marketing, auditing, finance and analyst roles. Around more than 50% of the students get placed. My plan is to take placements in consulting and finance roles after the degree from the college.

There is a proper placement cell for this which is very active. Placement Experience:

The placement of my college is good if you perform well in the process of selection, as I told earlier, the placement cell is pretty active, so you would have a good number of options. I will be naming the good companies that visited my college, they were EY, Deloitte, DE SHAW, TCS, KPMG, etc. Numerous offers were made and I would say over 80% students in my batch got placed in good companies.

Course Curriculum Overview:

In open learning management.. they provide hard copy of books tk prepare whole semester and this is a very good thing because those books are covering whole semester in some books only and there is a v good thing I found... At the end of every chapter they provide summaries and mock questions for every chapter to analyse the weakness and strength. the areas for improvements in the Course Curriculum and Teaching Methods--- they should also provide a mock test paper as per the paper model and latest questions or updated topics with to the point topics The difficulty is normal if candidate is completely prepared...

My view regarding my college

Remarks:

Academically you can choose it but if you are looking for some fancy institution with some best infrastructure and fancy canteen I won't suggest you this college. But this college has one of the very best cricket team and one of our student named Mayank dagar is leading Indian National under-19 team. So I think you understand the impact.
