Good college with less placements

Good- labs and infrastructure wise its awesome and teachers are average Bad - placements are very less

I got selected in the entrance exam with a decent rank of 1819, so that's why I choose because it's one of the reputed private colleges in Chennai and India as well. Being a South Indian guy it's one of the best University anyone wants to pursue their dreams.

The course curriculum is pretty good in SRM IT Will to keep on updating every year, as I am from Electronics and. Communications department subjects are very good, there will be optional subjects that students need to choose based on their interests.

No for btech they won't provide internships and stipends also if you have a good idea really which will help University to showcase their publicity they will help you.

I can say it's below average ... There are more campuses and more strength of students they are giving admissions that reaction we can clearly see in the placements because of lakh of companies they are bringing.. they will allow very very small company startups also to ruin students carrier.

There are two major events that will be celebrated in college, one is Milan it's a cultural fest where it's in 4 days event, full on cultural activities held and celebrities from all over India come and cheer students and the other is Aarush technical event it's more kind of technical workshops held.

The fee structure is quite expensive here college fee 2.0 lakhs if you go through SRMJEE counseling, hostel- 1 lakh, 15 thousand building fee and 15k books fees, dhobi - 8k, examine around 5k per semester, if you want ac hostel it's 2 lakhs and in an international hostel, it's 2.8 lakhs

Loans you can easily get with college name, a scholarship will be issued for first 1000 rank candidates in SRM jee exam.

Campus life will be awesome there will be students from all over India so you can find some awesome friends, extracurricular activities and sports will be conducted by students where you can participate and enjoy with other students, there will be competitions running every day.

I stayed in non AC hostel with 1 lakh payment, food will be good and maintenance won't worth for 1 lakh there will be 2 mess foods one is north and south, but for 1 lakh it's quite expensive compared to your stay in outside and again dhobi bills will be additional.

Alumni network and senior students are so helpful, as there are a huge bunch of passed outs and you can find in every institution outside.

Exam structure is pretty good, there is 3 internals and 1 external, there will be 5 marks for attendance also where 75 percentage is compulsory, labs structure will also be the same 50 marks is in internals and 50 marks is for externals. We can easily overcome to get pass marks.

Firstly when we are in the 12th ending we have to apply through an application and then we have to give an online entrance exam named SRMJEE, I Got descent rank in it to compare to other colleges it will be better, I got a call from them to attend counseling. Through counseling I got admission.

The faculty is average there are teachers who did much in local colleges in Chennai and joined here and SRM mtech passed outs as well working here, I can give 4/10, some of the teachers were good in teaching and some of them are average, the money we are paying is not worthy.
