This college is quite good as compared to many of the colleges. It has a good environment for studying. The college location is also fine as college is located on outskirts of Bhubaneswar it's quite peaceful here. The infrastructure of college is also good as compared to many other colleges and this is a government college which comes under JOSSA.

Yes, our college provides internship for students who want to learn something, but it does not provide any stipend to the students however you will get a certificate of experience after completing the internship.

The placement of our college is decent however it is becoming a good year by year. Recently the highest package that was offered by DELL was 24lakhs per annum. Many big companies like IBM, DELL, INFOSYS, HSBC come for recruitment. Almost every student who sits for placement gets placed in one or other company, if you will work a bit harder you can definitely get a good placement here.

There are lots of events specially organized for the students to increase their social interaction. After getting admission in the college firstly there will fresher's party for the first year students after that you will have many events like, TASVEER which is an ethnic event. Apart from all these events the main fest. of the college i.e ADVAITA is held in the month of February this fest. is one of the best college fests. in odissa in which there are lots of activities held like tech. events are there and art events singing, dancing there are lots of stages set to showcase your talent in this fest.

The fee per semester is around 1lakh. but it can vary a bit it depends on you if you want a single room hostel then the fees will be 10k extra. The fee structure is similar to it's or nit's and of course, it is much lesser as compared to private colleges. I think the fee is feasible for middle-class students however if you cannot afford the fee for college then you can apply for fee concession.

Our college provides the scholarship to eligible students like students who are NTSE scholars. However if you not able to pay the fee of college due to poor financial condition you can apply for loan or fee compensation.

The campus life is quite joyful you can learn new and interesting things among your peer groups. Many students come from Bihar, West Bengal and there are students from Delhi, Haryana, UP too. You will students from almost the whole part of India came into college and some international students are also there. The boy-girl ratio is 4:1 in the college for a b.tech programme. If you are interested in sports then there are sports events held for sports like cricket, football, volleyball, and basketball however if you want to play lawn tennis you can play in the tennis court. The labs are properly made for computing, electrical etc. If you are interested in tech. Events and literature events then you can join their societies like tech.society and News and publication society they held lots of events for your participation in them and can learn new things.

There are three types of hostel rooms available for the students i.e single bedroom, double bedroom, triple bedroom. There is a separate hostel for single bedroom and the infrastructure of a single bedroom hostel is quite good apart from a single bedroom all other hostel rooms are below average and if we talk about mess food it is not very good leaving some days the food provided in the mess is very bad however you can eat food from the shops that are situated on the back side of the college.

There is very good interaction between junior students and senior students you can seek help from your seniors if you face any kind of problem.they will guide you and provide you to the right path whenever you feel distracted.

The whole examination structure is very concise. There are total eight semesters in B.tech programme and each semester counts for four months. During each semester you will have the mid-sem exam, lab tests, projects, vivas, and end-sem exam. After joining the college you will be provided with the academic calendar from which you will get the dates of examinations and other important events.

To get admission in this college, firstly you need to give JEE mains exam after passing your 12th and you need to score at least 100 marks in mains exams if you want admission in this college for an electrical branch. Otherwise, for CSE branch you need to score a bit higher and after your JEE mains results are out you need to apply for counseling which occurs after the JEE Advance results are out, you need to fill up your choices on JOSSA site which holds the counseling for admission. If you are from Odessa then you can apply separately for admission in IIIT BHUBANESWAR. The counseling for local students is held separately.
