Course Curriculum Overview
The course curriculum which i studied was B.Com (P) as this gives the students to choose the subjects as per their interest. This helps students to choose the subjects which they want to learn and gain knowledge irrespective of the mandatory learning. The semester-wise exams give relaxation to students to prepare for the exams on a half-yearly basis. The curriculum will help us gain theoretical knowledge that will help us to put it to use in the real corporate world. The scope of improvement in the curriculum is that it can include more practical or case study-based studies which will help students to understand the problem solving more easily
Internships Opportunities
The college placement cell provides internship opportunities for students in 1st,2nd, and 3rd year students. More than 100+ companies are offering internship opportunities in different domains including finance, marketing, operations, sales, consulting, HR, etc.
Placement Experience
Students can appear for the final placements from 3rd year onwards. There are somewhere around 100 companies coming to campus for placements and roles offered are around 120. The highest CTC will range up to 21 LPA and the average stands around 7.4 LPA. There are different roles offered around finance, marketing, sales and, analyst roles
Fees and Financial Aid
The fee structure at Ramjs College for B.Com (P) is around 14,000 per year. However, the students who come under different categories like OBC, SC, ST, and all have different scholarship opportunities that can be availed. One of the scholarships that I got was Central Sector scholarship where I received 12000 for the 3 comsecutive years and can avail in Post graduatoin 20,000 for 2 years also. Apart from that I received with Tata Pankh Scholarship which reimbursed 80% of the college fees for the last two years. A
Campus Life
The overall campus life is extremely good. We will be able to get exposure to the north campus DU and there are college annual fests happening yearly and a lot of societies in different niches. each societies have its own annual fests and the campus also highly promotes arts and sports. The overall experience by considering the campus life, focusing on social aspects and club activities it's great
Admission
During my time the admission process or the eligibility score was calculated by the top 4 subjects in the 12th Board. The cutoff for me was somewhere around 99 and I took admission on an OBC reservation. But for the upcoming batches (from 2022 onwards). So, for the whole upcoming students will need to appear for the CUET entrance exams to take admission
Faculty
The faculty members of Ramjas College are one of the major attractions. The experienced faculty members are always ready to guide and mentor the students for their future studies, Placements, Internships, and Jobs. The teaching approach remains usual among some teaching staff but there are also professors who take lectures in a very practical way and a different kind of approachability
