Boys hostel for the first 3 years can be improved infrastructure wise
The college can be lenient in the dress code for boys and girls

Course Curriculum Overview

For the non IT courses like EEE and Ece the course curriculum has flexibility like we can choose the courses like operating systems and Networks . Data structures and algorithms, Object oriented programming courses are available in the curriculum which makes the students ready for both IT and Core companies in placements

Internships Opportunities

Many companies like Zoho , De shaw, Bosch etc those companies will provide internship along with placements the stiphen will vary company to company, Zoho offers 20k stiphen Bosch offers 25k stiphen, De shaw offers 80k stiphen

Placement Experience

In the 6th semester itself companies like Zoho, De shaw will come for summer internship opportunities and conduct their drive students clearing that will be getting internship opportunities. If they perform well during internship they will be converted to full time. The placement will start from the final year (7th semester) nearly 120+ companies will come for placement

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee structure depends on three categories through counselling two categories of students will join . Aided students will pay 25k per year whereas unaided students will pay 65k per year. The management quota students will pay nearly one lakh per year. Many scholarship schemes are available like OBC scholarship, First graduate scholarship, SC/ST scholarship, Alumni scholarship etc.

Campus Life

There are many clubs in the college like literary club, music club, Dramatix club , Kalam knowledge club, Martial arts club etc... To enhance the students talent in various areas. It also has service clubs like NSS, YRC ,RSP . The library has good collections of many technical books and journals.

Hostel Facilities

The first 3 year boys hostel doesn't have fan in it . We have to use the portable table fan . The hostel food is okay it consists of balanced menu with evening snacks and Tea . The hostel has purified RO water facility, solar water heater is there .

Hostel Fee: INR 30000 per year

Admission

The admission process was through TNEA counselling the cut off mark will be calculated from our Maths, physics, chemistry marks of our 12th board exam . Reservation benefits are there for OBC, SC,ST etc...

Faculty

The most of the faculty in our college are PHD scholars only few are Masters graduated with that I can say that faculty are very strong in their practical domains also they explain the concepts with real time issues

Course Curriculum Overview:

Specific schedule is not followed in college regarding the academic and co curricular activities. Sudden decisions will be taken by the management which is a bit difficult for the students and faculty too. There were times where faculties are fed up of management rules and decisions.

Placement Experience:

1.) Placement begins from the pre-final year and we are allowed to apply for companies from the final year. 2.) Around 70% of the class gets placed in reputed companies with an average CTC of 4-8 LPA. 3.) Along with core biotech companies, many IT companies are also hiring students at a very decent package. 4.) I plan to pursue a master's after this course.

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible for placements in their final year. Many reputed companies like accenture, TCS, zoho, HCL, etc. visited and many of my friends also got placed with a good package. The highest package from my batch was 50lpa in company called motorq. The average package is around 4lpa.

Placement Experience:

The students become elgible for placements right from the 5th semester of their course work. The students who have no standing arrears become elgibile in the first place. There are many companies visiting the college where Infosys, Cognizant, Virtusa are the mass recruiters. The are many other companies like TCS, Wipro, Zoho etc. visiting the college placement drive. On overall 90% of students gets placed every year. The highest package of 25lakhs per annum was offered by amazon for 3 students. My plans after getting degree is to get placed in any of the company.

It's a good college for me.

Placement Experience:

From final year students and 3rd-year students eligible for attending the campus placements in this campus so many companies are there like Wipro, wheels India, so many IT companies in this average package starting as 18000 to 40000 students should have a minimum percentage of 6.80cgpa eligible for placement I completed the degree I got a placement on IT company.

Thriving at CIT

Students are generally admitted in colleges of Tamil Nadu through TNEA counselling. Coimbatore Institute of Technology is among top 10 colleges of Tamil Nadu.
