Likes

i like their student to faculty ratio that us quite good not as gooas iits
its crowd is decent mostly from punjab region only and up and rajasthan

Dislikes

there fest are boring and doesn't have much fun for me
its location is big turnoff factor as it is around 15 km away from the city and have difficulty in reaching college as auto driver if alone charges a lot

i think curriculum is bit old fashioned and has very less effect in real life work experience and mostly focused on theoretical part in which we just mug up the things to either get pass but college has good evaluation system which make it somehow easy to pass exams.

placement are good for tech as well as non-tceh but lacks in consulting job roles which is a big turn off for me overall placement ratio is good and 23 batch of mechnaical has scored 100% placement this year with good packages.

Fees and Financial Aid

fees is similar to all nit's as they offer scholarships to sc,st student with full tution fees waiver and need based scholarship on the basis of their family income like family income below 1 lakh/yr entire fees waiver 1-5 lakh/year around 66% waiver resulting to fees about 94680/yr and no scholarship for income more than 5 lakh

Campus Life

campus life in firts year is some how restricted as students are not allowed to go after 6 pm duirng initial days and then timings changed to arounf 7:30 after mid sem and during 2 nd year timing changed to 10:00 pm that was the time when we start enjoying college freely but form 2 nd year onwards there is no in time for boys but for girls it is around 10:00 that is a negative point. fest are decent not expect grand fests.

Hostel Facilities

Quality of food is good that can be consumed easily i will recommend BH2 as it gas best mess among all messes with good food and facilities there room are quite big as compare to bh1 but surely dont choose bh5 they ahve very small rooms personally my entire friends circle hate bh5 . hostel are affordable and you should prefer hostels

Admission

the admission is similar to all govt. colleges with physical reporting at last the cutoff mostly depend on level of paper of particular year i would like to say student are helpful for college details sharing

Faculty

faculty to student ratio is quite decent its faculty has good knowledge about the subject but mechanical department is one of the best department of this college with strict faculty and help in student improvising their skills. Teachers are easy to approach you can approach teacher by asking for their time in their cabin and they guide best of their knowledge

MY HONEST REVIEW ABOUT MY COLLEGE LIFE

Placement Experience:

from 6th semester students become eligible for the placements and they should not have any backolgs or reappers in the exam and they should have morethan then 5 cgpa . as i am from the 2nd yeari donot know more aboutm the placement offered made but the average packagr is 3.5 to 4 lakhs per annual and around 70 to 80 percent of students are get selected in placement . and planns after getting the degree is to do higher studies in aerospace designing in the aircrafts.

Placement Experience:

Here, the placement drive starts at the beginning of the 5th semester and goes till the end of the 8th semester. Here, all MNC like Google, Microsoft, Amazon, Capgemini, and many other companies come to our campus for hiring. In the very last year 2 students got selected with a prestigeous 2.5cr & 1 cr packages.

Placement Experience:

From 5th semester onwards students are eligible for the campus placement. Either they get internship or they get placement offers . Number of companies visited are more than 50. I will give some examples of some best companies like google , microsoft, accenture, virtusa, lenovo , Paypal, shadii. Com , JP morgan and many more other good companies visit to our college. Highest package last year was 52 lakh and the average package was 6 lakhs . More than 70 percent Student are getting placement. My plans after the degree is to get a good job in a good company

An honest Insight of my college LPU

Placement Experience:

The course curriculum should be rated on how useful and complete it is. A good one covers all important topics like Software , Networking , Automata , SQLetc. it is mix theory and practical work . For CSE studendent there are coding laguage like C++ in 3rd sem and DSA in 4th semester.

Atharv ki dastan nit ki kahani

I got 28102 rank in jee mains and 24576 rank in jee advanced My primary goal was to get into any iit but I can't get due to my rank if I would have got any iit o would have chosen it over In josaa counselling I got iiit bhopal cse which was quite a good option because bhopal is not so distant from home and also has good placement but it has many problems like no permanent campus and hostels etc and very high fees which I can't afford So in next round I got nit jalandhar ice over it because it is a cirtcutal branch enough options in tech and core both morover it comes with a nit tag and less fees and I want clg in north...Read More
