Remarks

There is shortage of parking and due to which the road outside college sometimes become obstacle for regular traffic.The inside parking is available only for college staff.

Entrance Preview

I gave CBSE pmt and AFMC medical exam. In my first attempt i scored 285/600 in cbse pmt .Have No maths in class 12 and intense competition in medical field I opted for this college.

Course Curriculum Overview

In terms of English hons. Course this college is best in north campus. This college has numerous science course and in evening college language courses are taught. The science faculty is largely of And HOC teachers you will see permanent teachers rarely or occasionally as they are busy in receiveing awards and on touring abroad.

Internships Opportunities

The college internship primarily for commerce graduates. The college has not do many internship for all students of all courses but for selective course students.

Placement Experience

The college placement is largely for commerce,maths and economics graduate. The google company select from these courses apart from this there are GE money and Genesis offers some sales type job .All other placement are done at university placement cell for all college s and courses.

Annual College Fest, Hindi kavi sammelan, and Numerous college cultural activities day by day.Apart from this many Aluminium and celebrity visit ranjas college because its auditorium is largest in all colleges if north campus.

Fees and Financial Aid

Applied in general category but all such facility are provided mainly to reserved category students.

Hostel Facilities

For girls hostel is very good with additional security and facilities.For boys hostel is average.The mess facility is also good but the canteen food is sometimes not very good quality.

External Expense: Rs.2000 - Rs.4000

Exam Structure

Yes The lab schedule of 3 hours 2 times a day is very hectic for science student like us. Mid term exam held in Dec or Jan month .Internal assessment and Attendance also have weightage.The final exam held in most of the time in College itself or Rajdhani

Placement Experience:

placements cells were little challenging . there were really less near to zero placement were there .so thats a problem you have to go for higher studies to get a good job and financial stability mostly students do this only.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum consists of relatable topics and interesting ones as well this is what quite influenced me to take this course. We have labs which help us learn how to prepare various organic compounds which are used in many day to day products . The course also has a 4th year research program. There should be more equipments in lab for the research. The frequency is good for exams being conducted and there level is also quite good

Maitreyi college's BSc life sciences is a three year course and admits almost 130 students . The average package is INR3.40 LAKHS but is very difficult for the students to get placed under this course

Shivaji College Experience

Placement Experience:

The students become eligible for the placements provided by the college in their 3rd year, while they can pursue internship offered by the college in previous years. Average sized companies visited the campus with lots of students being placed for jobs. The highest package I am not aware of but lowest was of around 300000 pa. I plan to pursue masters after my graduation degree.

Life in Kirori Mal College.

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible for campus placements from the 6th semester. I don't know a lot about campus placements but I know that there is a training and placement cell in our college that provides good packages to many students. Some students got more than 7lpa last year. I will be doing my Post graduation after college and will make a career in academics.

Well you need to very lucky to have been a part of Sri Venkateswara college.Only think we missed back then was auditorium and hostels which am sure are there now.A very positive and caring vibe you got.Reddy Sir our principal in last few months invited me to share tirupati prasad he got that was the level and depth of community interaction and love.

Remarks:

Canteen of the college is not much good. But it is good for a student. We can make our career in different field from this college. It has provided us playing material so student cam play there favourite game

The admission process of the college is through Cuet ug admission examination, I had applied to other top colleges of The University of Delhi including Kirori Mal College, Hindu College, St. Stephen's College and Hansraj College, However my score was best suited for Ramjas and I was allocated this college during counseling process. For admission into Delhi University, CUET exam is conducted based on your 12th subjects. Scoring atleast 750 above out of 800 is necessary to get into top colleges like Hindu, LSR, SRCC etc. Then based on the marks , you are allotted the college , there are 3 rounds of allotment.
